  • Amazing instruction. Clear, conscise, and step by step.

The question is why does not my math teacher teach this way... *sheesh*

Bravo, may friend ! Thank you!

  • you're so helpful dude thanks you a lot

  • youtube is the best math teacher

  • the 4th root of 49 would not have a more simplified radical form

  • @patrickJMT this is my maths question which i dont know how to do please reply: THERE IS A METHOD TO WORK OUT THE SQUARE ROOT OF A NUMBER WITHOUT USING A CALCULATOR. DEMONSTRATE THIS MEHOD BY FINDING THE SQUARE ROOT OF 108241 USING A MATHEMATICAL METHOD . DO NOT USE A CALCULTOR , GUESSING OR TIAL AND ERROR METHODS . CLEARY DEMONSTRATE THIS METHOD :)

    please someone helpppppppp

  • what would be the answer to the square root of 49 with an index of 4?

i had a test today and couldn't figure out the answer to that :/

  • @patrickJMT....i mean like root of 67.24 gives 41/5........i know how to do it in decimal but how does the fraction comes at first place

  • Hey dude you gotta help me.......can u tell me how to convert root 67 into fractions......i need it today please

  • @jaigudde you can not convert it into a rational number (if that is what you mean)

  • I love your straight forward and simple style. Keep up the Great Work!!!!! I am sharing your site with my whole class :)

  • @smuccilicious just explaining things the way my pea brain makes sense out of them : ) good luck in your class

  • Patrick, how do you normally deal with a sum under the square root? thanks !

  • Thanks! Your examples have really helped me.

  • @Tardis910 glad you like them!

  • wrong video lol

  • omg you are the jesus of math helping thank you

  • @bpr77 i am really big and fat, so i am probably more like the buddha or santa claus of math

  • LOL! yes they are HUGE!! haha

  • I think I love you LOL!!!!

    thank you!!!

  • @allpsyched you just love my big... equations.

  • thank you so very much patrick, only because of you i am able to learn square root's chapter!! you are an amazing teacher thank you so much =)

  • Very clear examples, thanks!

  • you're a great teacher. the simpleness in your methods makes it easier. and you dont talk all fast or anything and make it complicated by bringing up stuff we dont know. good job, i like youre way of teaching.

  • dont wurr i worked it out its

    817500000000000

  • i figured, it means 8.17500 × 10^14

can someone tell me the answer?

  • what does this mean?

    8.17500e14

  • @MotocrossSam33 your mom

  • Respond to this video... excellent

  • Respond to this video... great videos

  • @MotocrossSam33 actually e stands for expnent

  • THANKS

  • @12gt13 your welcome

  • thanks so much!

  • why do textbooks always have 12^2 as the max, not 10^2 or even 13^2, for example?

  • Very thankful.

  • THANKS!!!!!

  • thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!

  • Dude, please dont bend the hook on your sharpie, it disturbs me!

  • I let this guy borrow my pen and he, out of habit, bent the metal hook so that it wouldn't go back.

I died a little bit that day.

  • I'm eternally grateful, marry me? :)

  • Comment removed

  • how do i figure out (root 3)squared?

aint got time to look through all videos

  • that would be positive three. anything under "xroot" to the power of "x" is equal to the positive "said integer" under the root

  • if you have a root of a number squared it just equals the number in the root, for example root of 9 squared.. think rite whats the root of 9? 3 square that which equals 9, and originally the question was root 3 squared so, a root is basically a number timed it self to make a number in the root, so if u square that number you get whats in the root fully, so read what my example again and you should understand that =]

  • Why not 8route5 for the second eg.?

  • awsome im 41 and now just reviewing since jr high so i can help my son you broke it down so easy

  • I would like to see equations using square roots and a variable

  • you are awesome.. thanks...

  • Your a badass... Thank you so much!!!

  • helpful!

    Thanks a lot!

    You save me a lot!

  • Thank you very much Patrick!!!! I watched lots of your videos and you are an amazing teacher. You explain it clearly better that our teacher.

  • glad i was able to help you : )

  • THIS HELPS ME ALOT.TtHANKS MAN

  • i dont realy post comments but DAMIT man you just explained the shit out of dis THANK YOU THHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAANNNNNKKKKKKKKKKK YYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUU

  • Great explanations, much better than any math teacher i've ever had.......thanks

  • Thanks! Its the night before the exam and you are helping me out a lot. Thank you!

  • Once again Patrick, Thank you.

  • thank you. haha. you're a great teacher. i would love to see more examples of the last two though.

  • Yeah, like fractions that don't come out to whole numbers.

  • You can do the fractions just like the whole number samples he gave.. Just do one side of each fraction till you can't simplify the sqrt anymore, and then try to simplify the fraction.. It takes longer but its easier for some. Whenever the number that is in the "bracket" equals to 1 the sqrt is the number that is left outside.

  • wow thank you so much

  • Thank you, that was very helpful.

  • what would square root of 2 times square root of 15 be??? I haven't done this stuff in years...i am going back to school & in need of serious help

  • sqrt(30)

  • Hey i was wondering if you can work out some with fraction in them like the last two at the end... You explain things very well thank you

  • you are a good teacher

  • i am glad u think so!

  • can you simplify 143 for me please

  • OhMyGoodness! This was such a help to me. I have the hardest proble with meath! I've probably seen all your videos!!!

  • Thank You for invite me as a friend, I will continue to watch some of your video when I have time. If I have problem, How can I reach you for help ?

  • Very good solution, Thank You.

  • no problem! glad it helps

  • in that case what ever gets pulled out gets multiplied by the two...

    for example: 2sqrt(300) = 2sqrt( 100 * 3) = 2(10)sqrt(3) = 20sqrt(3) let me know if this makes sense!

  • what if I have a number is outside the square root?

Like the expression 2 then square root of 10 and 8.

Or 2 then square root of 10 / square root of 8.

    Thanks.
