Beautifully argued. I don't know Heidegger but if you have represented his thought truthfully (as I am sure you intended to do) I cannot agree with him. Or rather, it seems an over-simplified approach to reality. I don't believe that death is the end even though it would be the end of me as a personality; yet even so I find the world unbelievably beautiful in all its aspects, even the worse ones.
