Well, you got a point! In fact, it's still strange to speak of persons by using their family names. But of course it might be a reference to "Faust" by Goethe :) I just got confused because the german spoken lines in this song hardly make sense. But as I said: It's a great song and a great band.

  • The first part of the song shall be german, but it doesn't make sense :-)

"Willkommen mein Faust" - Welcome my fist (o_O), "Was machst du hier, Faust?" - What are you doing here, fist? - Even if I wanted to find out the correct lyrics, it's really hard to understand the singer. I bet, he translated his lyrics with google translator and put a funny german accent in it, not understanding, what he is singing there - no way to figure out just by listening. But great song and great band! *thumbs up

You're lacking some cultural references here. It actually makes sense if you know that Faust is a family name

He is the hero from a popular european story. A man who made a pact with the devil (Mephisto) and eventually lost his soul as a consequence.

  • Elle est super cette chanson! Surtout en automne;-) . Merci de l'avoir mise en ligne.
