well it depends what lan tournament you are in, usually top teams in wcg make tens or even hundreds of thousands, so thats more than a regular person's salary per year
But... only the teams (or players) actually winning the events get money. So many other pro teams, that are not as good, might not gain that much.
Got to keep in mind that top teams (like fnatic, mTw... etc. ) have a lot of sponsers, meaning that pros do not spend a large amount of money on things such as pc's or plane tickets to tournaments.

There were other better players. Toxjq is always known as the king of quake 4. Zero4, czm and cooller were also better players than fatal1ty during the quake 3 days. Vo0 was the best painkiller player despite fatal1ty beating him.

@odessaz82000 It is hard to adjust to a game like that. MW2 is trash in terms of PC gaming. Dedicated servers or GTFO. This guy made his name on 1v1 action. Games that required extensive team play and didn't have gib guns slowed him down. He is a great gamer and helped globalize and bring awareness to the gaming industry. I gotta respect him for that.

well it depends what lan tournament you are in, usually top teams in wcg make tens or even hundreds of thousands, so thats more than a regular person's salary per year

But... only the teams (or players) actually winning the events get money. So many other pro teams, that are not as good, might not gain that much.
Got to keep in mind that top teams (like fnatic, mTw... etc. ) have a lot of sponsers, meaning that pros do not spend a large amount of money on things such as pc's or plane tickets to tournaments.
