In 1994, I saw both Hell and Paradise, and I am not dead. That was in Rwanda. I believe evil and good exist but in life. Not after you dead. I don't think religions are a result of misunderstanding cuz people keep inventing new ones all the time. Religions are just a way for some people to make money and for others to justify their behaviour such as wars.

Acting well or not has nothing to do with religion, it is due to education, that is way more important than Religion. In the Inquisition time, in Portugal and Spain they used to torture and burn to death mentally ill people because they believed they were witches or only because they were not Christians. I don't think that is right. Now that times have changed the Church, just as any other corporation, changed their view about the life of human being and now they say they are against euthanasia
