Digging the 'Chung; they produced a lot of excellent work--not just in terms of songs, but also technical innovation. If you enjoyed this you should check out U2's earliest videos, before they even knew who they were.
Maybe familiarity has a lot to do with it but the original LP version (in my opinion) is so much better than this one (edgier, the extra reverb making it fuller).
These guys need to get back for music's sake music is dying all the crap that's around these were the days when music was actually good well more than good life changing excellent inspiring in so many ways.
Wonderful! i am a die-hard fan of WCh(huang chung) and never saw this clip before wharsoever, could I have a copy of this one? let me know if this is possible!!thanx in advanced, jackhues
Great band. Very underated. It irritates me when they're referred to as a one hit wonder because that's simply not the case they had numerous hits both in Britain and the US. And just because material doesn't chart does not mean it's bad, some of the greatest records ever recorded were b-sides. Looking foward to their new album.
@jamesyireland They only had 1 top 75 hit in the UK with Dance Hall Days (No 21) they should have been huge, the album this is off is fantastic, had the CD for ages.
First, are you sure that is Huang Chung? If so, how well did you know them? P.S., do you also know if this was their official music video for "Hold Back the Tears", or was this some promo?

It's a tremendous advantage to get the original maker to post it! This is a true gem.
