  • So, they left the camera on the ground and ran??

  • The cow IS missing :(

  • FUCKKKKKKKKk Tornadoes Give me a hurricane anyday!

  • Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun...

  • so freaking beautiful but so deadly and spooky. Great teaching video. Thanks

  • For once I'm glad the noise is half-muted.

  • it is a video probe thats it no car in the vid

  • i would have shit myself. no lie

  • chuck norris must have sneezed

  • in a f-5 tornado do not throw a stick at it because u will get a tree right back

  • probably a small F0-F1

  • @mattall4christ Agreed. Its not a strong tornado at all.

  • mr.tree is ok

  • omg!!! That's Very toooooo Close! o.o

  • LOL listen to that manical laugh at the beginning( 0:02 ).

  • Im a girl but a tomboy and i think tornados are cool. id be like AWESOME but would have to run to a safe place, ( stupid over potective parents.)

  • the tornado knew it was going to be probed thats why it veered away.

  • i would be like, HOLY CRAP!

  • It's not copyrighted video so there's nothing illegal in posting it here.

  • If you'd like to know what tornado this is, you can ask Tim Samaras since this is his probe cam you illegally reposted.

  • @BMPmama698 It's not copyrighted, so he can post it.

  • noobs thats a PROBE CAMERA! NOBODY WAS THERE WHEN THAT HAPPENED, and if your wondering who deployed it is Tim Samaris

  • @SeaShepherdfan001 Actually its Tim Samaras.(no offence)

  • Great Footage!

  • poor tree, at least it didn't fly away;

  • weak tornado

  • not smart dude

  • The luckiest tree in Kansas

  • thats the cutest thing ive ever seen!

  • WTF DID YOU GUYS SEE THAT WHITE THING RUNNING PAST? AT @Like 30!

  • @JaslenaLove That was a tumbleweed.

  • Interesting to watch the wind change direction. Watch the tree and weeds.

  • incrivel essa camera n se mexer 1 milimetro o.o

  • Thats one weak tornado if it was that close and didnt even move you..

  • @PoisenFanged Read the description, it was taken by a probe cam........ its a camera mounted on a heavy base dropped of by tornado hunters.

  • The tornado totally owned that tree.

  • @Blackoutx4500x Nah , that tree came out just fine considering. That tree took a Tyson punch , has the black eye to show for it but didnt hit the canvas .

  • I've seen this before...they put a camera in a an armored dome in hopes of getting a look in side the tornado.

  • What a beautiful sight.

  • time to use some common sense and leave the area

  • get out of there time to use common dende

  • bry3685.....yupper, he's a smart one.....I watched the whole video after....LOTS of "ghosts" around!! hahaha

Oh well, maybe next time I'll see a real ghost? lol

Or I won't show the video to my boy!!! LMAO

  • My 13 yr old son just told me the "ghost" is sheets of sleet or hail!!!

No ghost at all....so I kept looking at the video....and he was right!!

Ooops, stupidcat is a stupidmom sometimes!!

    Sorry :^)

  • @stupidcat39 ma'am you have a smart son i seen it myself foot steps and i all i kept playing it back and slowing it down like u said and i seen it myself

  • Torandoes are a very good way to clear litern from one area!

  • DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THE GHOST?!!!!

At 33seconds he runs through the frame!

Download the video, start it at 31 secs, then play it and watch!!

Then start ir ahain at 32 secs and quickly hit start/stop/start/stop.....then you will see him run across the screen. And it's not wind...his foot hits the ground and kicks up dust!

Don't believe me? Try it....I was surprised, too!! Not what I expected to see!!!

  • @stupidcat39 i see something white runing

  • @stupidcat39 That doesn't make since! i saw it but how can yo uactually "SEE" it? AHH thats scaryy

  • k that was scary!!!!!!

  • i love how people know virtually nothing about tornadoes. its awesome :)

  • Awesome! At about 0:15 I started to think, "Um, now might be a good time to get the fuck out of there", then I read the bit about it being taken by a probe cam in the video info. If only tornadoes would make direct hits on probe cams more often. The footage they can get is bad-ass!

  • i live in texas and ive never seen a tornado.Well,i live in the south plains :P

  • Given that there was minimal damage to the tree I'd say it was probably F0.

  • cool

  • That had to sting a little! Good and up close.

  • i would be shitting my pants if i was there!!!!

  • @uchihaitachi219 im shiting my pants just waching this!

  • @uchihaitachi219 better yet since i thought there was some1 there...y dont they shit in the tornado?

  • In Washington, 60 mph winds can uproot a tree. That's low f0 speed. I'm pretty sure 60 mph winds can knock down a tree anywhere, except for strong-rooted trees.

  • True, though most trees can survive. Though we once had a 60-70 foot pine tree snap in winds around 40 mph.

  • dziwne ze tornado przeszło tak blisko a słup i linie stoją nienaruszone:]

  • Run, bitch run!

  • i been closer to a tornado

  • Paha! Look at a Before and After on the tree. I feel sorry for the tree...

    );

  • @PanicAtTheDiscoo1011

The tree's lucky to be standing at all.

  • who ever seen a f5 before?

i wouldnt cos i live in london xD

  • EF5's are very rare.

  • o w pyte :o lol

  • it like went thru the probe.

  • Oh my god.

  • how come the tornado didnt take the tree or is it a tornado

  • It's a weak tornado. Probably F0, does only light damage.

  • Comment removed

  • It was a camera prob not a car! look at the dicription!

  • This is definetly a tornado, I chase storms, and seen the weather around tornadoes. Tornadoes will usually have hail in or close to its actual location. Notice the small hail that is falling right in front of the camera. Hail doesn't fall around a dust devil, so this should let anyone who has doubts know that this is a tornado. I have seen tornadoes in person, so I can vouch for this video, it is ligit. Also an F0 tornado can be as low as 40 mph, but now they use the EF(enhanced fujita) scale.

  • there rated wind speed not damage

  • Actually it is damage. The wind speeds are estimates.

  • nice

  • that's weird how the tree stayed in one place and didn't rip out of the ground. it would of if it was a real tornado

  • no it wouldnt.... Only F5s have that amount of power... Check up on your scales

  • Actually an F3 would uproot most trees.

  • maybe you should check the scales you dumbass. it doesnt take an f5 tornado to uproot a tree.

  • Maybe you should get that cock out of your ass and check the comments before recommenting on something 2 people have already told me you sorry piece of shit. I'll correct myself, it takes something between F4 - F5 to uproot a tree. And seeing as how they're damage scales, not intensity scales, I wasn't far off from the truth. Next time add some insight before mouthing off, you failed abortion.

  • it doesnt take that strong of a tornado to uproot a tree you dumb fuckin cunt.

  • Yes it does you idiot. Read the scales, damagewise a tornado able to uproot trees is an F4-F5. Jesus, you really are an inspiration for abortion and stem cell research

  • your such a dumbfuck severe storms with 80 mph winds can uproot a tree.

  • Actually even F0 damage says "shallow rooted trees uprooted"

  • That's based on the damage scale, not the wind scale. Theoretically an F0 could be 350 mph and a mile wide, but if it occurs in an open field where it does no damage it will still be classified as an F0

  • It's true, The scale is based on damage. But let's look at the Enhanced Fujita Scale which includes trees as damage indicators places the uprooting of trees in EF0 and EF1 ranges. Even looking at the original scale I get this under F2: "Large trees snapped or uprooted" and this under F3: "most trees in forest uprooted."

  • i agree because even an F3 can uproot a tree.

  • ikr he is so stupid

  • hahahaha I love how you continuously get on two accounts and talk to yourself., and agreed with yourself...rather than get on your other account and agree. You're such an imbecile.

However, an F3 breaching F4 can in fact uproot trees.

  • oi shit stain are u dumb an F3 F4 and a F5 and uproot trees have a look on the win speeds on the storm chaser site or mabie talk to an sotrm chaser that knows

  • Be pretty cool if you could speak English bro. Last I heard Win doesn't have speed, I'm sure if I ever get caught in a huge F3 "Sotrm" I wont see any trees get uprooted. I will in fact talk to a storm chaser that knows, rather than taking advice from an 12 year old autistic child trying to correct me on youtube. By the way, 1h181e1r, it's pretty obvious you made a separate account to type this. Go kill yourself...

  • first off, this is not your video, so you need to mention that in the description before you get charged with copyright issues. also, its not a dust devil. if you watch the whole thing, its a group of experienced storm chasers that plant a camera in the path of the tornado, hoping to get a glimpse of the inside.

  • That is implied in the description when he says "unidentified"

  • ??? dust devils will come when theres no clouds no rain and no hail

  • Aww! You cut the video before the COW went walking by!

  • great storm footage!

  • That was a super weak tornado. F0?

  • YA! OHNO! ITS A DUST DEVIL!

  • At the beginning you can see the condensation funnel, dust devils don't have those.

  • F0s are very hard to see,and arent very wide.

    thats at least an F1

  • Did you know that a tornado's rating of the F-scale isn't determined by size but by damage? Theoretically an F0 tornado could be a mile wide.

  • Yes, and look for "Tornado at Elie" to see one in Elie, Manitoba in June 2007 that was rated F5 for sucking up an entire house despite being rather narrow.

  • Dust Devil? No... Hmm Land Spout?

  • is it a dust devil or tornado

  • heh that is definitely a tornado

  • Man sieht voll dass das nicht echt ist!

  • 0:58

  • is it real??

  • It's a very low, relatively heavy, dome-shaped probe they drop on the ground with windows of heavy glass in it. The wind blows over it and actually presses it to the ground. Pretty cool.

And a good reminder that "it's not *that* the wind blows, it's *what* the wind blows..." A smack in the face with a 180 mph aluminum can will take your ass down.

  • those obnes dont do as much damage

  • well thats smart

  • You can see how its dangerous with all the wood and other stuff flying around all over the place... You get hit head shot... na na na na hey hey hey good bye

  • its only a f1

  • How did you catch it on tape?

  • I think they tied it down or something...

  • im guessing thats just an F1 cuz anything more usually would rip a tree out.

  • Yes, it was a probe and yes, debris was hitting it too. As it got closer I could see smaller vortices whirling about. That was very good detail and luckily the probe wasn't damaged.

  • they werent sitting out there holding the camera most likely, they probly lleft the camera out there nailed to the ground

  • yea, I saw the original vid, they put the camera on the ground and ran.

  • thats a tuff tree... we had some 50-80mph winds the other day and tree's were down all over the place

  • good

  • Just one of the best Tornado vids in a long time, Thanks.........

  • ooooohh shhhahahahahaaahaaatt!!!

  • would want to be there!

  • i hope that was just a probe and not somebody dumb enough to get that close to a tornado

  • You never know.. it happened in Texas lol.

  • sweet video

  • he or she could've left they're camera sitting there while they saved their assesXD

  • Holy shit.

  • Awesome video.

  • Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!!!!!

  • what is that ticking noise??

  • the ticking noise is the metal around the camera so the rocks are hitting the metal

  • or hail

  • okzxD

  • Sounds like Debris hitting the probe....

  • That debris has to be flying around at a speed of at least 70-80 mph..

  • thats looks awesome but not that smart

  • he or she is very brave to get that close

  • my gosh that thing is spinning FAST

  • incredible...the wind shifted directions 180 degrees in a split second....

  • God... it's incredible how those things seem like to have a mind of their own.. shifting so quickly like that.

  • just so u guys no thats a camera planted on the ground specialy meant for looking at cameras from inside upclose and outside dumbasses

  • run fyaker run!!!!

  • damn

  • RUN ITZ GUNNA BLOWZ!!!!!

  • run bitch run!!

  • yeow

  • Uhhhh...this was taped by a probe. Not a human being. It's a device used by storm chasers use to take measurements within a funnel....but it only wworks if the twister hits it.

  • yeah... too bad it didn't directly hit it. Barely missed. Or else the tree and the power would be gone

  • EF3 and i know.

  • Hay whats with the EF rating? I think i'm out of the loop on that one, I was going to say F-2-3

  • are you really close to it

  • plus de peur que de mal

  • omg yall crazy as crap i like this vid and id have a heart attack no id get a asma attack and i dont even have asma

  • wtf are you? stfu

  • u what did i say is tis ur video so u just get out of my buisness idiot

  • Learn to spell, uneducated piece of shit.

    owned.

  • by the way y u cursing at me what did i say or do ?

  • nothing. Just annoying your day. lol. cheers xD

  • well it was an accident ok u can say what u want but i dont really care im not talkin to u the hater anymore ok so leave me alone!!! u piece of crap ur words r worthless to me ok get it straight

  • Well this is like being a tornado with out actualy being in "it". But I wont to be with the guys who got the TIV!

  • theres no friggen place like home! Theres no friggen place like home!

  • Ef2 at most

  • E? F-2? or is that the new fujita scale they use now

  • yes they uses Enhanced Fujuta scale now,. but its basicaly the same,.

  • I'd say EF0

  • wow

  • this is crazy!!!!!!!!

  • isnt this the one with the cow OWO

  • i would of layed on the floor if that wos coming 2 me

  • Too bad there wasn't also a camera pointing straight up.

  • its a probe its like nailed on to the ground

  • This is sweet! How'd the camera stay on the ground anyway??
