I agree Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in the Dark Knight was amazing, and yes he did earn the Oscar for it...But he didn't deserve it for Brokeback Mountain! Philip Seymour Hoffman is the most gifted Actor in Hollywood today! In 2005 it was definately Hoffman's year!!! Brokeback is a great film, but it only skimmed the surface of what it could have been.

I'm pretty convinced that Ledger's oscar was gave him fo pity,mercy,regrets,whatever.

borkeback Mountain is not great as shoulded be,anyway.

But no one have to forget here that he simply died by his own hands,as Ledger had a bad lifestyle,he was used to drugs much before his hollywood success.

Legder was simply a junkie.They gave to him an oscar lately only because his tragic death,as the academy regretted to not gave him for brokeback mountain.

Gyllenhaal is far better indee than Ledger,so obviously they simply can't gave to Ledger an oscard for that movie,Brokeback Mountain i mean.

Ledger was so unprofessional,he also spoken so bad abot Brokeback mountain,saying that for him was not a fair experience at all.

He grab the money,the fame that followed that movie,so what's wrong with that?
