These days, and in this video Kremer is playing a Nicolo Amati violin made in Cremona (Italy) in 1641,known as the ex Hambourg. Previous to this he had a Guarneri del Gesu, the David of 1730, also Cremonese. Both exceptional instruments indeed. :-)
