Wow, really kaleyeetzbrains? Aside from having to follow the rudest comment on this video, I'm blown away by Jewel's talent. Something must be wrong with some of your speakers, that was the voice of an angel.

And as far as the timing, most artist will lower the tempo for a live acoustic set, it lets the guitar (acoustic vs electric) have a voice in the set. Listen to the difference from the album to the acoustic version of "Everlong" by Foo Fighters for another demostration of that.
