@watso64 yea it completely sucked! about 40 bucks would get you a little over a quarter tank. i think the most i got out of it was about 200 miles with about 150-160 bucks
I have gotten about the same amount of time and speed out of my 2011 Avalanche. Its laking on the 6.2 only using the 5.3 Vortec, but I added K&N filters and Gibson exhaust kit and she roughly makes about 335-350HP instead of the stock 320. She hauls well if you hit around 5500rpm which is amazing!
@MissBilly100-- You are correct.. Check out my videos, mines a but quicker than this. 13.8 1/4 mile @ 100 and 0-60 in 5.6 sec. I have a programmer that adjusts the shift points and a few other parts and it completely changes the beast.
@flickring89 should not affect the warranty. Under the Moss Magnusson Act (look it up), the dealer/manufacturer has to PROVE that aftermarket part caused on the failure resulting in warranty coverage denial.
i agree but programers only do so much i went with a pcm tune on mine bc the superchips dnt work when its way over stock but when i had mild upgrades and the chip yea it was kool

Thats basically a ls3 corvette engine under the hood so get it tuned to its full performance! Nice ride!
I have tuned the LS3 in my C6 and added a few bolt-ons, but I'm leaving this thing basically stock as it's my daily driver I want to run for 200k+ miles.
if your gonna drive it for 200k+ miles then get a chip/programmer. It gives you better mileage and a tune. Think how much its going to pay itself off if your actually going to drive the rig for that long
@ws6transam1971 It's a much heavier truck compared to the corvette, if you rev much farther than that your gonna blow the pistons through the hood of the truck.
Yeah, my buddy has this car. It actually sounds really badass for stock. You would think it was a corvette or something if you werent looking at it and someone started it up.

mine is the same way, the exhaust note is unlike any other car on the road, and it sounds like a corvette because it has the same engine.
