spamming lvl 2 attacks will lvl up ur spell attack lvl, while using only bosses will lvl up ur boss summon lvl (they also lvl over time) so it's up to you

What do you think is better? Spamming level two attacks or waiting to get bosses? I mostly use either Marisa or Sakuya.
