@illynoizz000 You mean on Maguire/Cruise's TV screen? 99% sure it's one of the re-run episodes of the TV series Hawaii Five-O (Jack Lord in the role of Steve McGarrett).
For me, when I focus on them, I succeed. Just ensure you get the client what they signed up for, (after the deal has closed) that is what will seperate you from every other company and sales guy. -You only get one shot.-Be straight and ethical with everybody, no matter what the cost. In our game reputation will soon be everything. -And always should have been.
If you make the utmost effort to ensure your clients are well served and get their value for money and a successful implementation, then you have done your job well. Those last glib statements are so hard to deliver.
Unfortuneatly, I do basically what Jerry Maguire does in this film. Don't get me wrong it pays well but the stress is intense. (not quite in his space, but the principles are the same) I sell big ticket finance deals to companies. I wouldn't dream of doing what he did in a corporate world. There are smarter guys in marketing than most sales guys..no offence chaps; just let them do what they do and focus on just closing business.
I hate my place in the world to... when I die, and God wants to know what I've done to work toward my ideals, he's gonna be disappointed when I explain I've put in YEARS helping casino's exploit others addictions. I hope I can get through grad school and be a speech therapist.
This film reminds us to be grateful for what you have today because it could all be lost tomorrow...
What Jerry did was very brave but it lost him his job ...but that's what the films about... like what the copy guy said.... "..hanging your balls out there..." it could pay off...
I've got the soundtrack. The song played in the beginning when Jerry's on the bus and swimming is not the same as the one on the album. It's definitely by "his name is alive," but not "sitting still moving still staring outlooking."
"Finally somebody said it," This is how the illuminati screws with people and then screws them over at the end to support their corporate control over society and the world at large.....if they exists. I'm just saying, this is what it seems like.
I agree. I haven't watched it in a few years, just watched it a few days a go and I remember how much I loved this movie.. I love this part, it means so much to me. It is life changing in my eyes. I'm glad there are others who agree with me.

If only Hollywood would do a 'Jerry' - fewer films, more care.
We might have several very good films, instead of hundreds of c**p ones.
