  • well if this was her manner of courtship, it's no /wonder/ she felt compelled to write "the female eunuch." lololololzzz... talk about a nut.

  • She-male!

  • Bitch had some shit hot drugs back in the day....

  • Brilliant.

  • One of the weirdest videos on youtube. EVER.

  • 'Have I Got News For You' brought me here.

  • freaky !! :/

  • Highly bizarre... Thanx for sharin'...

  • That was amazing!

  • Who made this? I only see references to "Sharp" and "Whittaker". You need to do better than that, BFI.

  • @friendlier I'm pretty sure 'Sharp' is Australian pop artist Martin Sharp.

  • @grmc949 The fellow who did Cream's "Wheels of Fire" cover, of course.

  • Thats the good think about youtube and art film...So many short films could be lost for ever but now many are just a click away...

  • Lsd makes you do strange things

  • she SO ROCKS!!

  • What the hell was that??????

  • Germaine. I think so. I think I love you .. but we'd have to meet. To be ... sure.

  • Wow.

  • Just goes to show some people have far too much free time on their hands.

  • @TheChrisrg it's a conceptual art piece you twit

  • Effen crazy...I love it ! BRAVO (CLAP CLAP CLAP)

  • Is this on a BFI DVD then? I drew a complete blank looking through all 300-odd titles shown on Amazon.

  • superb

  • freaky, but clever.....

  • The innate female neurosis which has destroyed western civilisation!

  • NO!

  • Ah yes, the 1960s... the decade in which British middle-class young men committed collective gender-suicide, with consequences for society now all too apparent.

  • who would think to make this! lol

  • GREAT

  • sanctimonius idiot!

  • Disturbing. oO

  • what cocaine and lsd did to you in the 60s

  • Pretentious and self-indulgent claptrap. Fifth-rate Dadais, and a typical product of the sixties. Ms greer has managed to dined out on her doubtful talents for 40 years or so now , so I suppose that at least is a small achievement in this mutable world.

  • I wonder what was going through Germaine's head while she did this? It is an amazing piece of footage.

  • Well, I'm not sleeping tonight. This is pretty successfully creepy.

It does strike me as pretty anti-woman, though. Perhaps it's simply against one specific woman.

  • You might wish to waffle on about this worthless piece of film and its amateur director, but they are of no interest or importance to me at all. Is the director your uncle?? The subject of my argument is Germaine Greer. It is not only the rubbish that she has talked for years that find disagreeable, but also her vanity and attention seeking which is coupled with a total lack of talent. If she was starting out today, I'm sure she would become a very successful T.V. personality...

  • She's perfect for the role and you're a dumbass.

  • It is not the technique of the film or the directors I have criticised it is the "actress." The fact that you have missed my crystal clear point, marks you out as a bloody idiot.

  • I love this. It's so creepy, funny, artistic, and disturbing at the same time! <3

  • Excellent and crazy piece of 60s expressionism! Also an excellent use of B&W film.

  • Could it be Kate Bush's mother?

  • Now that's what I call smothering one with love! Very retro artsy, indie short!

    KUDOS!

  • reminds me of CHER

  • Sums up that kind of claustrophobic "love".

  • I don't get it

  • clever! Oh and that face massaging

  • those teeth scared me.... gross.

  • fantastic. is there a sequel? or is that celebrity?

  • Reminds me of my ex-gf. That's not good-LOL.

  • That would be a pretty scary girl

  • FOR GOD SAKE ANSWER THE WOMAN....Brillaint little film. Very wierd but good.

  • I find this very comforting.

  • Wow, that was really good. I am just reading this one page and no one gets this?

  • bizarre. truly. and more than a tiny bit creepy.

  • a good example of British experimental film making

    =]

  • Well it's actually Australian...

  • British actually. Greer had made the UK her home. The Editor was Austrailian.

  • Both Greer and Martin Sharp are Australian. I'd say it's the cast/director that determine the nationality of a film rather than the location.

  • Agreed.

  • i don't understand what you mean.

  • What's with the cape?

  • that was just weird

  • Like a bad bad acid trip. LOL.

  • Woody Alan??

  • Haha! It does look like him. If it were true, this would explain all of his weird neuroses.

  • An oddly delightful little film! :D

  • Terrifying, disturbing, and hilarious. 5 stars!

  • scared now....

  • Seek...Help.

My subscription to this channel certainly provides the most random assortment of things. Yikes.

  • no i dont love you

  • Great, nuff said..
