  • great job jagerpro. it is almost like a surgical precision but this must have been learned from some trial and error practice before. i really envy you guys. i wish i were in a similar environment with similar equipment of course. the smaller pigs(piglets) maybe more tasty thatn the grizzled ones. what precautions do you take to keep away from human accidents?

  • @goerizal1- Great question. We use only retired Soldiers as guides who were professionally trained to operate at night. Four of us have 86 years of combined military training and experience. We also recon the damaged fields during daylight hours so we know the direction of houses, livestock, machinery and irrigation systems. We also shoot the best thermal optics on the planet so we can see better at night than most hunters can see during the day.

  • You can tell me how how to shoot all day long, but you have a "Gift" to shoot the way you do! Your aim, lead, and trigger control are incredible!

  • With this equipment you are not a hunter you are a Marica

  • @kronoloko What is a "Marica"?

  • @creekdrifter for example a man that hit a woman or children

  • @kronoloko Thanks!

  • @kronoloko- We are not hunting for sport or recreation. We are controlling an agricultural pest much like a pest control company controls termites or rats. American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to this invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork which could cost our country millions of dollars in commercial pork exports. Perform a little research before you label American professionals as a Marica.

  • @JAGERPRO I understand, sorry, but i think that your title must be change for pest control system.

  • @kronoloko- From Wikipedia- “The definition of hunting can also involve the elimination of vermin (animal species regarded as pests or nuisances) as a means of pest control..” Sport hunting methods are used to control deer populations (producing one or two fawns per year) and thermal night hunting methods are used to control an agricultural pest (producing 12-16 piglets) annually. Both are legal hunting methods in Georgia. Feral hogs have no closed hunting season or bag limit for this reason.

  • @JAGERPRO ok, most of the people missunderstand the concept, now i retired my bad coments. I have a question, the meat is appropriated for human consumption? thanks

  • @kronoloko- Yes, wild pork is very good to eat. I have not purchased meat from a store since 1999. Most of our harvested pork is either processed by our guest hunters or donated to local families and churches. We wish we could donate this meat directly to local food banks to feed others, but is not allowed by federal regulations (USDA) due to liability with swine brucellosis and pseudorabies. This is the reason it is so important to thoroughly cook wild pork to 160 degrees before eating it.

  • This little piggy went weee weee weee *Thud*

  • Dont know why people think this is bad. To get rid of the pest you must get rid of all members of the family. Plus its fun doing it!

  • nice hunting. i would use any calibre over 7.62.

.300 .270 and .338 are your best bet

  • nice shooting dude

  • I find it amazing that people comment when they have absolutely no knowledge of the subject . If we could , we should kill every hog in this country . They are destroying the whole countryside , not just farmland . We could feed a ton of people too .

  • blood looks so much cooler in thermal night vision than regular night vision. great shooting by the way, moving targets are so difficult

  • It is all good but that is not hunting! In my opinion every idiot can buy this scope and go hunt. With this toy the whole point of hunting is missing. (It is to easy) I like hunting (as process it self) & looks like you are enjoying by killing whole pig family at ones. I understand there is no limit but i will never kill deer (pig) in front of its yang ones. Seriously ask your doctor & check your self. When they limit the pigs you may end up in local mall with gun.

  • @zelibober- First, thermal hog control is not an easy process. However, putting this technology and method in the hands of a professional shooter is highly effective. Second, our goal IS to eradicate this crop destroying, invasive species at the request of the landowner. Hunting "conservation" methods used to control deer (producing one or two fawns per year) will NOT control an agricultural pest producing 12-16 piglets annually. You are confusing a legal game species with an invasive species.

  • @JAGERPRO You missed the point. I agree that pigs has to be controlled, and got noting against the hunting, but you don't give chances at all. Kill grown ups as many as you can but let at least smallest ones to see another day (they will need whole year till they can multiply again).

  • @zelibober- No, I believe you have missed the point. You do not tell the pest control agent to only kill the adult termites and let the baby termites live. You need the pest control company to kill every pregnant and baby termite, rat and roach in the entire neighborhood so they do not migrate into your biggest investment; your home. Same situation with farmers. They want this agricultural pest killed before it destroys their biggest investment which is their crops and your food & clothing.

  • @zelibober JAGERPRO are obviously pros. What they do is very hard regardless of the high tech equipment. Their goal is to kill all the pigs not to hunt for sport. As for not shooting a pig in front of their young ones this is just putting human values on animal behavior . Yesterday I shot a sow and then dragged her body onto the road. about 10mins later 4 piglets came out to suckle on their dead mother. Animals do not have human emotions

  • Fucking bastard. Coward.

  • @cezarm777- It is always someone living outside the United States making ignorant comments about controlling feral hogs. I'll post it again since you are too emotional to read before you type. American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to this invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork. Feral hogs are NOT game animals. They are pests; just like termites and rats. Research before making ignorant comments.

  • @JAGERPRO I'm a Canadian and i support the method being shown here. Any one with half a brain can see that the hog's numbers desperately need to be controlled the farmers are being over run and families lively hoods are at stake.

Personally i wish i could try and help not only because it seems they can use all they can get but also cause it looks like one heck of a good time i wish you all the best gentlemen.

  • GOOD JOB,ILL BR GETTING ONE.THANK YOU.

  • Fun and exciting

  • the best part of the video is 3:50 min.

    very good, nice shot... ;)

  • thanks for the advice. I was realy just leaning toward that particular model because it could be had for about 4k. I noticed that you had an online shop. e-mail me some models that you have available. jsegovia3830@yahoo.com

  • looks like fun, I want to try this out with my Bad News 338 Lapua semi auto, Ive been looking into getting an elcan specter ir sp50b for it for night hunts.

  • @raptorret- The Elcan Specter IR has been discontinued for years. Besides, it would not hold up to the recoil of a .338 Lapua. Don't waste your money on old 160 x 120 technology. Here are the MINIMUM parameters for thermal: 320 x 240 Vanadium Oxide detector at 30Hz with a 60mm lens, a 9 x 7 degree FOV and a 25 micron pixel size. Stay away from amorophous silicon detectors. Watch the 384 x 288 thermal scope video and thermal monocular video on our channel to see the difference with your own eyes.

  • sir have you tried using an ar chambered in .223? i have one shooting sub-moa and considering using it on hogs, any imput would be great/load. thanks

  • @MrDaajman and yea its a dpms too, iam very happy with them and will stick to dpms.

  • @MrDaajman- Yes, a .223 caliber works well if you use quality hunting bullets and make proper shot placements. But our goal is to remove 15-20 hogs per night for control purposes. A .308 caliber, 180-grain bullet allows better penetration on targets running away from us which are shot up the tailpipe into the vitals. These shots would be considered unethical if performed on a legal game species. A .223 is great for hunting hogs, but we prefer .308 for high volume control of an invasive species.

  • Really good demonstration of shooting. Very helpful. Thanks

  • Excellent show, please ignore the ignorant people who do not understand the fact that feral hogs are invasive species. I believe that people should be responsible for clearing hogs off their properties, since they deal massive damage to crops and native wildlife.

  • I don't critizise the shooting, we also have hunters to regulate the deer population. Your response to my earlier comment is quite narrow-minded, since you don't consider my opinion as relevant only because of the fact that I am 23 years old, which also implies your ignorance about the educational level of certain younger people. I am pointing out that by bragging about how good one is are at killing animals with hi-tech guns is nothing but a pitiful and macabre attempt to distinguish oneself.

  • @K1temaniac- Your opinion is not relevant because you believe the same HUNTING and conservation methods used to control deer (producing one or two fawns per year) will also control the population explosion of an agricultural pest producing 12-16 piglets annually. This video is not "bragging". It is education. These high-volume methods and technologies are needed to control this invasive species versus traditional hunting and the reality drama being portrayed on television. Do you understand now?

  • @JAGERPRO

    very well put JagerPro....

  • excellent shooting man. who cares about all the narrow minded people. we'll see how far there values get them when they have to start feeding themselves

  • @K1temaniac everything takes skill..who seems ignorant now..

  • 1:20

    BACON FLIP.

    Nice shooting though man.

  • Nice shooting and i know someone has probably already said it but I'll do it anyway , 2:53 DOUBLE KILL

  • Nice shooting man, that's a real nice weapon with a very nice scope. Do the hogs usually go down with one shot of .308 or does it usually take 2? Reminds me of shooting pigeons in my neighborhood with a break barrel pellet rifle (minus the thermal scope of course!) and to the people arguing it's inhumane and they should set up defensive measures it's already too late for that, and besides feral hogs can be dangerous to humans, id be glad people were killling them if it was my land, or near mine.

  • I must say that's a amazing rifle and the optics are badass. To have that capability of sight at night like that is just awesome. Also thanks for all the tips on shooting, even though while I could probably pull the trigger on a hog, I really don't want to take care of them afterwards.

  • HOLY SHIT! DOUBLE KILL 3:08

  • I'm impressed

  • Now that are some amazing shooting skills

  • That's sum dam fine shooting rite there

  • If you kill these poor animals because of their destructive habitats, at least don't take pictures with all of your targets lined up. That's fucking sick. Soldiers would never line up their victims and smile for a picture. You don't have a soul, obviously.

  • @yantjeknoop- I was a Soldier for 24 years and deployed to combat multiple times in my career. A true Soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. Same concept with hog control. We don't kill hogs because we hate them, but because we must protect our farms. We perform a valuable service to agriculture. These videos demonstrate the most efficient methods & technology for high volume hog control. You CANNOT compare this to human combat.

  • @JAGERPRO

And THIS is not a reaction to what I said. You are ignoring the point I try to make.

  • @yantjeknoop- These videos are te best way to effectively educate farmers, hunters and landowners of the high-volume removal methods and technology we have developed. Our company has educated 1.3 million+ people on this channel. We also write magazine articles, film television shows and speak at every wildlife damage management conference. YouTube is one of the best ways to quickly educate our solution. Our high view count is a testament to how important this topic has become in the U.S.

  • @JAGERPRO

You again ignored my answer. Stupid sturdy American. KILLING IS NOT THE ONLY WAY. Understand that.

Why is it always someone living outside the United States making ignorant comments about controlling feral hogs? BECAUSE YOU ARE FUCKING STUPID AND CAN ONLY THINK ABOUT KILL KILL KILL!!!!! THIS PROVES YOU AMERICAN TRASH REDNECKS ARE SO FUCKING STUPID!!!

  • @yantjeknoop- I tried to be professional and educate you about the problem since you are only 15 years old, live in the Netherlands and enjoy making music. Your parents and teachers have taught you that killing is wrong, but you do not have a solution to the problem. There are no bait contraceptives or non-lethal measures developed. We cannot wait six or seven more years in hopes science is successful. So we will implement YOUR method if it is more effective. What is the Netherland solution?

  • @JAGERPRO

Wow, you looked at my channel and saw I was fifteen more than a year ago. Anyway, farmers in Holland actually build defensive perimiters around our crops, consisting out of fences and deep ditches. Perhaps you should take us as an example and develop similar protective measures.

  • @yantjeknoop- The extra year of education has not helped as you are still clueless if you believe 'defensive perimeters'' are a viable solution. Some American farms exceed 5,000+ acres covering several square miles. Fencing these areas would cost farmers more than the actual damage caused by feral hogs. Erecting a barrier around crops does nothing to stop them from breeding and reproducing. Wild hog populations currently exceed 5 million. Try again. There is NOT a way to avoid killing the hogs.

  • @JAGERPRO plus why would you fence off the area and allow an invasive species to reproduce like rabbits and cause an exponentially bigger problem to arise in the near future

  • @yantjeknoop i love how you are getting so frustrated that you resort to cursing, im from england and i fully understand what it is he is trying to get at, science tells us that invasive species causes changes in the environment they have invaded, sometimes it may be good sometimes it may be bad, but in this case its bad as it is affecting there living conditions and there livelihood, and they are taking the nessesary actions to correct the problem. stop being so ignorent.

  • @JAGERPRO amen

  • 3:07 DOUBLE KILL

  • yeaaaaaaah! i like this video!

  • @Phoenix9756 They are not native and are ruining the food chain

  • kill dem hogs

  • I will shoot you like that when you will be with your familly. How would that be to you?

  • @MultiJakob2- Why is it always someone living outside the United States making ignorant comments about controlling feral hogs? I'll post it again since you are too emotional to read before you type. Feral hogs are NOT game animals. They are pests; just like termites and rats. American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to these invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork. There is no other solution.

  • @MultiJakob2 ignorance

  • died like a pig

  • @SharpbulletFilms these animals have desease N1H1 they are being cleaned for this reason... i think

  • 163 people are animal haters

  • @henriktandberg- You are incorrect. There are 163 people who are intelligent enough to appreciate the talent and professional ability of the shooter behind the thermal scope engaging an invasive species. These 163 people also understand feral hogs are not game animals and must be eradicated like any other pest, termite, rat or roach. The 26 dislikes come from rap, hip pop and techno lovers like yourself in Norway and Denmark who never experienced feral hog crop damage in the United States.

  • @JAGERPRO incorrect, i like rap and hip hop and i also like killing animals with the end of my over and under shot gun

  • @JAGERPRO amen to that

  • @henriktandberg oh man i want to see you face to face with a hog :) give him all the love

  • QUAAAAAAAAAAD!

  • Comment removed

  • @madmike3181- We kill piglets for the same reason pest control agents kill baby termites, baby rats and baby cockroaches in your house. Juvenile pests will continue to grow, reproduce and destroy your home the same as juvenile pigs will continue to grow, reproduce and destroy acres of agricultural crops. Our company harvests 1,000+ feral hogs annually. Why would you hire a pest control agency to remove only 50% of the problem? The only solution is 100% removal.

  • Great camping my friend. lol

  • i dont see why you people are ass hurt these hogs grow extremely fast and produce vast numbers they compete heavily with other animals in the ecosystem for resources and if not controlled many other species including things such as dear and anything that depends on that dear for sustenance are in danger they are very dangerous as they can grow to extreme sizes and there have been many people hurt and killed by feral hogs.

  • Ok ths is just my Opinon, I understand why it is needed to kill these animals but i also understand tht thy dont deserve to suffer. So why not try to get a perfect shot the first time so thy wont feel pain? Sorry if i sound ignorant or "stupid" its just my opinion. Umm open to anyones reply..

  • @omipe3 They always aim for a headshot, but sometimes its not that simple, they need to take shots from far away so they dont scare the pigs away, but sometimes the miss slightly and need a second shot to put it out of its pain.

  • @3:00 bad ass shooting

  • DO A BARREL ROLL

  • pretty good shot

  • Hahaha 2:53 - double kill

  • you don't knon who to shot dude

  • Awesome video.. what kinda scope where u using, with thermal or infrared imaging..

  • @SharpbulletFilms these "poor animals"are destroying peoples crops, you might want to take that under advice.and it`s good eating afterwards.

  • @SharpbulletFilms- Why is it always someone living outside the United States making ignorant comments about controlling feral hogs? I'll post it again since you are too emotional about "poor animals" to read before you type. American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to these invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork. Feral hogs are NOT game animals. They are pests; just like termites and rats.

  • @K1temaniac- Let me educate you since you are only 23 and making ignorant comments about this subject. American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to feral hogs which are an invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork. Feral hogs are NOT game animals. They are pests; just like flies, termites, rats and roaches. Don’t confuse high-volume control of an agricultural pest with hunting a legal game species.

  • @JAGERPRO You shouldn't use such big words when talking to them, they dont understand it!

  • was that a 2 in 1 at 2:52??

  • 2:37 It blew into pieces... daayyyyymmmm

  • you rock..

  • Like a BOSS. lol

  • sustained lead @95yards, DO A BARREL ROLL

  • Its funny how over here in the Netherlands hogs are protected species, and over at yours a pest. Even if it where a pest over here... goverment does'nt even allow us to have a BB gun, forget about actual rifles lol. My country sucks >.<

  • am i the only one the noticed 3:17 is a one shot 2 dead hogs!? this guy is a sniper wet dream

  • biggest idiot :-(

  • @Th3Snip3rDim4- Why is it always a gamer living outside the United States making ignorant comments about a subject you know absolutely nothing about? American farmers lose millions of dollars in crop damage annually to these invasive species. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic pork. Feral hogs are NOT game animals. They are pests; just like flies, termites, rats and roaches. Don’t confuse controlling an invasive species with hunting.

  • you have one steady gun hand my friend.

  • LOL you can sign up for the army and if you'll be like the "sharpshooter" in a squad or sth.

  • @s4ndler97- Quite the opposite my friend. The members of JAGER PRO are retired Soldiers. We shoot this well because we have 85 years of combined military experience on our team.

  • @JAGERPRO ohh wow....Anywayz thanks for what you guys have done!

  • Shooting moving targets is more fun too. Have you ever hunted deer behind a good hound? Fun stuff. Also is that the recital that you see , our is that just the camera?

  • @chillnshred- Viewers are seeing the exact same reticle and sight picture the JAGER PRO shooter sees as he pulls the trigger. There is no other way to properly demonstrate leads than through the shooter's scope.

  • Hog control is ok ,, but why you hunt Coyotes?

  • @fjhmmer- Hunters control coyote populations for the same reasons we control feral hog populations. There is no closed season or bag limit on coyotes in most states because they are an invasive species and they have no natural predators other than humans. Coyotes eat the eggs of game birds such as turkey, quail, ducks and pheasant. They also eat deer fawns, rabbits, etc which are legitimate game animals. Coyotes are very intelligent animals and humans must be responsible for controlling them.

  • @fjhmmer i've never read a more stupid question

  • Get Some!!! Kill All Them Commie Scum Suckers!!!!

  • if you dont put the meat to use of a nice hog like that you should not shoot them

as a hunter my self i put everything to use that i can

pork is pork eat it or dont shoot it

  • @camerl2009- There is no closed season or bag limit on feral hogs because they are an invasive species. Do not confuse high-volume, hog control methods used in Georgia with the "conservation" hunting methods used on a game species in Wisconsin. This agricultural pest causes millions of dollars in crop damage annually to American farmers. We wish to eradicate their population; NOT preserve them. Feral hogs are NOT eligible for donation to food banks due to swine brucellosis and pseudorabies.

  • @JAGERPRO yes i know there pest but why waste the meat theres people out there that could use it take it to a butcher thay will be more then happy to give it to some one

  • @camerl2009- The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has ruled that all swine are amenable to the Federal Meat Inspection Act and even if donated are considered to be in commerce; therefore all animals must be processed under inspection. This would entail examining the animal alive before passing the animal for slaughter. Feral hogs killed during our thermal hog control operations are not eligible for donation due to swine brucellosis and pseudorabies.

  • @JAGERPRO hmm seems like a bunch of BS becuse if its stamped not for sale that rules out the gov

  • @camerl2009- Of course it is government BS. Think of how many people JAGER PRO could feed by donating 1,000+ feral hogs to Georgia food banks at no cost. Yet our company cannot risk a lawsuit from someone contracting brucellosis when a food bank fails to thoroughly cook their donated pork to 170 degrees. Guest hunters can fill their freezers and we can donate to local families wanting wild pork. But it is against USDA regulation to donate our annual harvest to food banks.

  • Great video! One comment really struck a chord

    >> moving targets can be harvested cleanly as long as hunters possess the proper shooting skills.

Yeah, those details... Would really like your advice on how hunters should prepare before attempting shots on live game. Hopefully something more thoughtful than "well, ya gotta practice." :)

Outside of Olympic Running Target and the Moving Target Event for Bianchi Cup, there are very few moving target courses for rifle and pistol.

  • the pigs are probaly screaming "Sniper!"

  • JAGERPRO,

Haven't you listened to the Brady Campaign? Semi automatic 'assault weapons', large calibers like .308, and night vision and thermal scopes are never used in hunting. There is no reason for anyone to own any of those. Thank you sir, this video is going to be my rebuttal to all of those fools.

  • and holy shmoley at 3:48!

  • Comment removed

  • How are you able to mount the camera on the rifle so we are able to view the crosshairs? Does your scope have a built in camera? By the way, Y'all are amazing shots!

  • @281Outdoorsman- It cost us a great deal of money to adapt this scope to record high resolution thermal video so the audience can view the same sight picture as the shooter. The shooter is a retired Soldier who was NCOIC of the Olympic Shooting Team at the US Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, Georgia from 1999-2008.

  • Cool Night scope !

  • What 308 Load are you using? 100 grain Vmax?

  • @vervi1jw- We are using 180 grain Nosler Partition bullets.

  • Your a beast, badass video

  • 360* Quickscope!!!

  • dude your fucking PRO

  • HOLY SHIT 2:36 !!!!

  • good and nice shoot

  • Very nice shooting.

  • im coming down for a vaction sometime with these guys keep it up

  • outstanding video!

  • double kill at 3:16!

  • hey jsut out of curiousity to you guys have any type of donor program that you give the meat too? like a help fee the needy type of organization?? we have that implemented here in new york for anyone who wants to donate any animal they harvest to help fight hunger, if not you guys should look into maybe setting something like that up, you take a small dent out of an evasive species and help put ALOT of ham on the dinner tables of the less fortunate!
