This episode is a classic.... Sweet and Lovely, Lucas.... Adorable & lovie dovie Edwin.... Compassionate Bianca... Practical Anton.... Lovely and awesome... Keep it up, Guys...
It's funny I just watched "Contagion" last night and that background music around 1:20 is eerily similar to the movie. A very good movie BTW. I love Steven Soderbergh’s direction on this. Not a single unnecessary scene and the ending was a nice revelation. Pure psychological drama without being too Hollywood type of movie. Kate Winslet was great and I’m not usually a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow but that one scene with her, I was definitely in a state of shock.
Am I the only who got a little nervous or even a bit scared when Lucas was about to kiss Edwin? “I was thinking, Edwin may have an irresistible, kissable lips but he also may have caught the deadly virus, so Lucas don’t kiss him until it's confirmed that he doesn't have the virus.
I totally understand Edwin..when at grief you miss out on the important stuff and misread people's gestures, but for Lucas to be so patient and understanding with him gosh, I just want to hug him for being so precious..people who talk sh*t about him, need to shut it now.
I hope Lucas and Edwin will be officially back together by Valentines Day Cause that would be a Valentines Day to remember (for me). I forgot what Country they're in, or if that Country Celebrate Valentines Day, but I am in the U.S. and our Valentines Day falls on February 14th
Well I don't know about the killer virus but it looks like everyone got hit with a deadly dose of stupid apart from Bianca. At least Lucas and Edwin aren't fighting I guess but Ron has done so much more damage to their relationship dead than he ever could have if they left him alive.
Anybody else totally hate Anton? lol ok 'hate' is too strong. But he should tell Edwin he may get sick,for God's sake!. I loved the scene with the boys((Lucas)) and loved that Bianca couldn't keep her hands off her grieving son. Thankx Mark
How many of us have had an ex-lover die in our arms saying ( I think ) " I love you. Forever."? I hope not any of us who watch this soap. What a heavy experience for anyone, and certainly a young guy like Edwin. He'll remember those words forever. He is hurting, and Lucas is really a sweetheart how tenderly he deals with Edwin. I already thought Lucas was cute but him being supportive and a little bit insecure about the situation brings cuteness to a whole new level and him trying to kiss Edwin was a sweet gesture, pretty much to early but it was just typical for Lucas - a little bit impationt but sweet
Ron is dead and STILL creating issues. While I know Ed did have feelings for Ron, right now all he's feeling is guilt. Lucas, my dear, give him some space, I think now is a good time for a trip to NY to see your Dad. Maybe when Ed spends some time by himself, absence will make the heart grow fondr and he'll begin to appreciate his life. Lord, he's been through a lot htis year, coming out, gay bashing, comas, affairs, deaths .... sheesh ...
when a contagious virus is discovered in an hospital, they quarantine the area of the hospital in which the infected patient is right away and don't care if the media is informed! The way Anton and the other doctors have handled this, the entire city might as well start digging a collective grave... I know this is a soap, but they should try to be a little more realistic as far as medical and legal matters. This is eye-rolling worthy.
Bianca is the most tender, lovely and caring mother ever! I adore her and the yelling was heartbreaking. She remembers me my sweet mummy who died 6 years ago :(
anyway, I love Ludwin together, they are deeply in love, you can see that in every look, in every gesture and the beautiful thing is they are friends too! Love and friendship in the same person: I wish I could be that lucky. Thanks Mark
Sigh! I love Lucas! He can be a major drama queen, but he knows how to give support to his close ones when he needs to. Edwin's grief and confusion over Ron saved Lucas for now, but I'm predicting Edwin finds out about the risk of spreading the virus and he will push Lucas away. Can't wait for more!
I love Lucas, he's really changing himself for love, from jealousy to sympathy. I'm sure that it takes a lot sacrifice to do that. I don't feel right about the way Edwin react to what Lucas did to him. :)
I have a feeling that Ed's going to get sick....he's not going to die, but something tells me that he will get sick (which will turn out that him not kissing Lucas was a good thing)
BUT all I really want is that whatever happens, I want them to be together and happy.

Okay first it was Edwin's dad that came between them, then Ron, now Ron's death. I know Edwin will need some time which is understandable but it seems to me that Lucas is always waiting for Edwin in some capacity or another. I think Lucas needs to find someone new for awhile I mean Edwin did besides how long is Lucas supposed to put his life on hold waiting for Edwin? Also I thin a lot of Edwin's "grief" is base on the guilt he feels for the way he treated and used Ron when he was alive.
I just want to hug Edwin soo tight after seeing this. He's so damn adorable! Who doesn't wish for a guy like this *_*

Women balance intelligence with emotion and some men try to be unemotional and intelligent but only allow negative emotion. Negative emotion is still emotion. Just cause you're yelling and not crying doesn't mean you're not being emotional.
I don't understand this. Why would the hospital make people who're possible infected with a deadly virus walk around as if nothing is wrong, possibly infecting people as they go along. Would they rather see hundreds affected, than inform the public and create a panic? They should at least secretly quarantine them or something. I don't think a hospital would do this in real life.
@santuaryhowler How do you SECRETLY quarantine people? Their friends and family will know. I don't know what the best way to proceed is, but if half the town flees, the vectors of infection could become global.
Was there or is there now an outbreak of this disease in any of the locations Jack traveled to? This storyline never asks that question. The larger medical community might have a running start on this one.
Ron might be dead... but he's still there, between the boys. Lucas is incredibly sweet and is hardly trying to comfort Edwin. So nice to see the boys together even though they're not back as a couple. They both know and admitted that they love each other: the first step is done!

Lucas, first and foremost, is Edwin's friend. Sometimes it's hard to know how to comfort someone who is grieving. Just being there, a sturdy shoulder, a hug if needed.
I know everyone who is a ludwin fan will hate me for saying this, but I feel so sad for Edwin, I know they only brought in the actor who played Ron until Ferry came back but I kinda glad that Edwin chose Ron I mean I know that he will always love Lucas but Ron was there for Edwin when Lucas was in a coma from Nina and Noud's wedding, I will miss Ron. I hope that Lucas and Edwin do get back together in the future.
