If you do this don't put a balloon into the water mixed with the painting, it will explode xD We did this on school once and I was gonna try something new. I blew up a balloon and lay it down and...boom xD

Is it really art? Or is it just a gimmick? The final product really doesn't evoke any emotion with me. Not really art to me.

@Ragnar42 Is sculpting art? What about carving? Prose? Poetry? Music? This is definitely art, perhaps not by conventional means but art all the same. Unless you have a degree in art and culture I don't think you are one to judge what is and what is not art.

I think this is lovely, and looks fun.

@117ty It is a mixture of water and Gum Tragacanth. The paint is a mixture of ox-gall (bile) and various dyes.
