  • Our faith is once again strong! My children, we shall make a crusade against the enemies of the Emperor. where I'd go, together, and take up arms, and I shall lead you to victory or glorious martyrdom! To the crusade, and Death to the Enemy! EPIC.

  • Only in death will i find salvation, the emperor will protect my soul as long as i wield his sword.

With Bolter and Flame i will defend humanity with every fibre of my being. For the imperium and FOR THE EMPEROR!

  • Glory to the Emperor !

  • FOR THE IMPERIUM OF MAAN!

  • Maybe someday mankind sees that if not united, mankind is doomed. For the imperium of man!

  • May the Emperor watch over you.

  • @ImperatorDominatus "Humanity Sector" track is made by " Pfeifer Broz. Music" not Harry Gregson-Williams. Just letting you know but probably you are never gonna read it lulz.

  • I dont remember some of these qoutes from DOW, were some in audio files outside of the game?

  • @redbaron998 Some are from the originalDOW,some are from DOW winter assault,DOW Dark Crusade and DOW Soulstorm.

  • We stand ready to give our lives for Emperor and Imperium.

  • I stand ready to surf.

  • ...this is an Oath of Moment!

  • Got damn GW! Why arent they making any movies about warhammer 40k, they have so mouch to work with and so mouch good stories to tell!!!

  • Strike true and strike with precision

  • thubs up if you would kneel if you saw the Emperor

  • @notenufdaka Fuck him i belong to Chaos lord

  • @notenufdaka Bitch please, if I would see a picture of the Emperor while randomly walking in the street i would bow before it and atack anyone who thinks is wierd or akward

  • @TheAlexRo123 I am in total agreement. I would also scream FOR THE EMPEROR!

  • @notenufdaka kneel before the emperor? his sons are of such glory that a mere mortal barely can stand their presence and it takes time before you can even look at them - in the presence of the emperor you would not only kneel, but bow and his voice would make you cry - its like jesus in full god mode!

  • @notenufdaka too busy slaying in his name to kneel.

  • @razorsrequiem slay whom? no enemy of the Emperor could come within a 100 paces of the Emperor before beïng obliterated(that is if the Emperor doesn't wat to get his hands dirty and insted uses his mind instead of his imba sword)

  • @notenufdaka neither would I. Like I said, I'd be too busy fighting in his glorious name to meet the Emperor of Mankind. If I'm kneeling before him, I'm not doing his will.

  • They good make 10 movies, and still only tell half of the story. That's just about how much story there is in the Warhammer universe.

  • "Come all you zenos scum and fallen heretics! Come face the one true might of the universe! And weather under a golden thrones gaze!"

By - A bad ass space marine you do not want to fuck with.

  • ..and they shall know...thath not even here,on this desecrated infernal rock will we suffer the existence of the heretic!!

  • @Skullthrone1 it's xenos, know thy enemy

  • they should have used this against bin laden

  • Close your eyes and let the imagination RUUN..

  • FOR THE EMPRAH!

  • By the Pillars of humanity for wich you stand!! we PRESS ONN oh IMMORTAL EMPEROR!!

  • WAR...it's fantastic :)

  • Sorry for this stupid question, but who is speaking at 1:10? I can't recall him from the games.

  • @BlackTemplar43 the Imperial Confessor in Dawn of War SoulStorm

  • @GeneralSturnn Thank you, I had forgotten his voice :P

  • @BlackTemplar43 I think he's the Confessor, from the Sisters of Battle.

  • Imagine how epic and crazy their praise and worship services must be.

  • SPIT IN THEIR FACES :D 3:18

  • ‎"Bless the mind too small for doubt"

  • Even though i would LOVE to see a Horus Heresy movie series, I wouldn't. I'd hate to see how they would portray the Glorious Primarchs and My Holy Emperor. I'd hope they make Graham McNeill's Ultramarines Books or Ben Counters Grey Knights Books are made into movies. They're SOO awesome.

  • What is this? I meant to go to the Megadeth song but this is really awesome.

  • @TheOneTrueComedian Warhammer 40,000, its a Sci-Fi universe of the 41st millinium, its really cool, but unless ur into Sci-FI u wont like it... if you do, I suggest getting into it... this is the father of Halo, and countless other modern sci fis

  • @OrkSlayer156 False. I'm not much into Sci-Fi (I've always liked fantasy more), but from the moment I discovered 40k I just fell in love with it, like literally xD, probably because 40k is not normal Science Fiction, its like a perfect blend between Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

  • @SFS88 Yes I guess if ur into th cool shit ul like this, but It is the father of Halo and Gears I think takes place during the Age of Strife (isolated world warring, sounds familiar...

  • @altaeon Exterminating all of the filthy filthy xenos for the crime of not being human. FOR THE FUKKEN EMPRAH!!!

  • @SinDawg030 I disagree. Chaos legions are hyumiezz too.

  • @ObamaBinLaden88 Barely. All those delicious tentacles, mouths, orifices, mutations etc.

  • @altaeon My dreem...Humanety unified under one baner one powerfull ruler one language one culture...thats all i wish

  • @mooses601 agreed.

  • glory to the Emperor!!!!

  • THE ENEMIES OF MAN CANNOT STAND BEFORE US!

  • @ratfoot women can lol

  • A man who has nothing, can still have faith.

  • And the Confessor sounds like the Professor from Futurama.

  • Sturnn is way better than Alexander.

  • I didn't see anyone noticing so I'll say it. These guys that have extreme loses with many incompetent leaders are the IMPERIAL Guard. Such a poorly chosen name. You would think if it would be the IG by name they should be elites but they are barely human shield for the space marines. And why the hell did they throw away knowledge. The emperor will resurrect and hell ask: "Why did you throw all that tech?". And "The emperor protects", if only they would listen, PROTECTS, for them it's KILL.

  • @muratira

They didnt throw away the tech!

Its Called the Age of Strife were humanity was on the brink of death, in that age most of the tech was forgotten, and now in The Imperium of Man, its the Adeptus Mechainicus who controls it, and they barely understand the technology themselves.

So they didnt just throw it away they have just forgotten how to use it...

  • THQ shuld make mowie about dow they have great story!!!

  • @metkic94

    Seen ultramarinesthemovie-dot-com?

  • @sEweron Yeah man but ultra marines are like bad quality cartoon!!

If they culd make a movie and story like in dow 2 animation it wuld be great!!

  • @metkic94 For a fully CGI movie not done by a major motion picture company they did a pretty amazing job. Not to mention its faithful to the franchise.

  • @Ionized226 : You are correct.

  • @metkic94 you realise that it's the warhammer franchise, dawn of war isn't how it fucking started

  • @metkic94 I'd much rather see a web series of Gaunt's Ghosts.

  • @metkic94 yeah... no.... A movie about the Horus Heresy would be something though.. Especially if you get to see all the primarchs in action

  • Comment removed

  • THQ is a publisher, they don't own the IP nor ar they developers.

  • @metkic94 You do know that THQ didn't produce Warhammer right?

  • @metkic94 there is a movie about space marines...

  • @barlobe Where do i find said movie?

  • @MrSwordJ just google Ultramarines A Warhammer 40000 Movie

  • Faith is the great power for Mankind

  • is it just me or do sometimes space marines sound like their dark brethren the chaos marines?

  • >2011

    >not crushing the Xeno scum with the hammer of the emperor

  • I loled at the random "SPIT AT THEIR FACES!"

  • I hate to make this post but...

    12 heretics disliked this video

  • @altaeon Srry dude, it wont happen :/

  • I feel even more loyal to the Imperium and the God-Emperor now. Faith is my shield!

  • The Emperor is with me and I shall not fear!

  • Not now. Not ever.

  • You are a genius, warhammer is genius.

This is a work of art!!

  • puyolll

  • As long as the Emperor Lives, the Imperium will slowly die, when He dies, The Imperium will Be Utterly destroyed by Chaos, Xenos and Heretics, but in the Hour of our Twilight of doom, a new savior will appear, the Emperor Reborn, To Save Us, and to create again, the Imperium of man -a unknown Human far seer sacrificed to the Emperor for Speaking Heresy-

  • Can anyone provide the source of the quote from 1:31-2:20?

  • @DominatusRex its from the first Dawn of War, By Gabreial Angelos

  • @BrotherTAHU Well yes, I meant is there a specific mission or sequence that it originates from?

  • @DominatusRex Oh sorry I thought you meant In general. Its in the Mission log of Gabreial of last mission ( mission 11)

  • At 4:10 it sounds like he says "Go forth and poop yourselves"

  • FOR THE EMPEROR AND IMPERIUM ONLY IN DEATH DOES DUTY END!!

  • People keep acting as if the Imperium is simply hidding in silence, and not doing anything about the Darkness. That their ALWAYS on the Defensive.

True, not all Crusades are Successful, but, for every Damocles, theirs a Sabbat Worlds.

  • 5:07 The chaplain either had a very bad day or is just experiencing a very good one, I'm not quite sure.

  • Gabriel's monologue about Tartarus sends a shiver down my back.

  • I liked the Psyker's lines the best.

  • 6:00-6:19 /6:32-6:44

Nothing beats the chaplains quotes, ever.

  • 7:15 is glorious

  • Where does the chaplain say "our road to victory..."

I've never heard it in game.

  • this is by far your most epic one. the feel of it towards the end is.. epic, plain and simple.

  • "The knowledge of how to build the war machines and relic tanks is long lost"

Which ones exactly? Leman Russ battletanks roll out of factories in the millions, and Baneblades are still constructed on a number of forge worlds.

"The men of the IG die faster than then they can be "reproduced"

    Source?

I can understand why non Imperials constantly herald the doom of the Imperium, but I really wish people would actually read what the fluff says before making such grand statements.

  • @machine3589

yea people seem to forget there are millions of worlds, in the Imperium, and you you have the likes of planets which are nothing but the Massive Hive cities with populations numbering in the 100s of Billions or more... I sincerly doubt the Imperium struggles to "reproduce" more Bodies for the glorious war against the Xeno, Mutant and Heretics...

  • @Gothic7876 Remember that there are other factors to consider - it isn't just a case of the Imperium having billions of people on a million worlds. The "million worlds" doesn't just refer to the overpopulated Hive Worlds, but Death Worlds, Agri Worlds, Shrine Worlds, Dead Worlds, Paradise Worlds, etc. with each one varying substantially in population. In addition to that, there's also the fact that a great deal of these worlds are infected by the taint of Chaos or Xenos, and if known about tend

  • @Gothic7876 ...to be purged. Of course, at the same time there are incredible numbers of criminals, separatists and so on corrupting the Imperium and reducing its numbers further. In addition to this we also have the fact that the Imperial Guard's commanders have a tendency to be incompetent or uncaring of their troops position, and often throw them into battle resulting in hideously unnecessary casualties, reducing their number even further.

  • @phocjame With the criminals, they attach exploding collars to there necks, and have them form Penal Companies. They fight becuase they will be freed, eventually...

Not all Commanders are incompentent, take Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt.

  • @Gothic7876 They will be freed in death for the most part, and if every commander was as competent as Gaunt or Stubbs Chaos would be FUCKED.

  • @Gothic7876 I'm barely scratching the surface of the "list of things that kill regular people in the Imperium of Man" but you can surely see what i'm getting at. Even if the Imperium's mothers and fathers reproduce at a very fast rate, you've still got the obvious problem of growing the bodies from little kids to full grown soldiers, and that takes years - the Guard loses millions on a regular basis.

  • @phocjame "Whilst certain resources are rare and priceless, the Imperium has at its disposal one currency so vast it is all but inexhaustable - manpower." 5th edition Imperial Guard codex.

  • @machine3589 Great, do you want to back that up with any evidence from the fluff or just take that statement as the gospel truth?

I mean, i've attempted to offer you good reasons based upon the fluff and information found in the codex for the Imperial Guard being unable to replenish its numbers at the rate it loses them, and you've come back with a single quote - don't you think you could put in a little more effort?

  • @phocjame What you did is put out a long list of reasons why the IG might be unable to replenish its numbers, not any specific fluff entries saying its experiencing manpower shortages. There is no evidence its happening on a galactic scale, just your deduction and speculation based on the fluff. Last I checked, actual codex statements outrank fan theories when it comes to fluff.

  • @machine3589 From what I've read (about 50 novels so far) the only problem is getting everyone where they are needed, in good time, with a freshly stamped lasgun in their hand and a good leader. While there are enough recruits, logistics is always a problem (antiquated technology, warp storms, well hidden chaos/tyrannid cults, Tau conversions etc). The Imperium is barely holding its ground and the 13th Black Crusade is grinding a lot of resources galaxy wide, not only at the Eye.

  • @mendebone I have read enough of 40k lore to know the stuff you told me, but frankly the logistical difficulties are a different issue. What he is saying is that there are not enough recruits, which is false. He tries to back it up by making deductions based on parts the fluff, only to ignore specific statements that contradict his deduction.

  • @machine3589 any war40k book starts with "[...]He is master of mankind by the will of the Gods and master of a million worlds by the might of His inexaustible armies. [...] To be a man in such time is to be one amongst untold billions." So ...yeah. . .aaand post ... aaand sip.

  • @phocjame you need to bear in mind that the Imperium of man has settled thousands, millions, of planets (admittedly they are in varying states of development since the Fall of Man, the FoM is the reason all the plasma weapons and ships are ancient etc) and each of these planets can produce millions of men in tithes for the IG. In WW1 millions of men died for a few miles of land, great waste...but there was no shortage of manpower until the very end. London alone has a population of 7mil people

  • @phocjame with that statement your are stating that the Mothers of the Imperium all birth in one go, obviously they dont.

You are also thinking that each family probably produces two kids each.

That is probably not true. Depending on the world they could birth many children over time.

Look at Cadia, They are at the gate of the eye of terror, but they have never struggled to get troops. Numbers are never a problem with the Guard, well sometimes in a battle, but not on a galactic basis.

  • @Gothic7876 They have never struggled with that, because every child, boy or girl, is raised to become soldier. Take the average birthrate on the Earth now, and then imagine that every one of these kids born will be a soldier.

  • @Rykanable The Imperium actually doesn't raise that many soldiers; most people are still commoners. Only Fortress Worlds have extremely high recruitment rates, and even then, only Cadia has close to 100% training as soldiers.

  • @TheJokerReturns I was talking about Cadia, thank you very much.

  • The fact that the Imperium can survive "dire" threats, is through faith, and numbers. And when faith fails, they still have numbers. You have to remember, their armies are trillions strong, and they are armed with laser weapons, and the mightiest tanks and war machines imaginable. It's not really that unbelievable, I think.

  • @waaaacrazy When their faith fails, they have nothing, for the Warp will consume them. The knowledge of how to build the war machines and relic tanks is long lost, and with every battle their ranks get thinner and thinner. Same can be said about the men of the IG aswell. The men of the IG die faster than then they can be "reproduced", and lasguns are one of the weakest weapon in the universe of Warhammer 40k. The Imperium slowly dies, inf act, it's dying since the days of the Horus Heresy.

  • @Rykanable I don't deny that. The Imperium will fall; the only races that will survive, will be those that only seek death and destruction. The orks, 'nids, chaos, and necrons. But the Imperium still fights, and it still keeps faith. They will fall, but they won't fall easy. They've been slowly dieing for 10 millenia, and they will still survive yet.

  • @waaaacrazy The nids won't survive once the Imperium goes down. The Necrons will see to that.

  • @phocjame The 'nids eat everything, and move on. Some planets would have Necrons on them, already. But a planet has to reach a certain amount of life, for the necrons on that planet to wake up. Because the 'nids eat all life on a planet, the wouldn't wake up the Necrons on the planets where they sleep.

  • @waaaacrazy They also seem to specifically avoid planets with Necrons in them. But of course, during a Tyranid invasion, the life count would spike significantly.

  • @phocjame

I can see why someone would avoid Necrons. Tough clankers, they are.

  • @phocjame

Sometimes... A tendril of Hive Fleet Behemoth avoided the Tomb world of Solemnace, those tendrils lapsing into Hibernation due to a lack of nearby nutrient rich worlds. From page 10-11 of the Nid Codex

But then Dozens of Hive Ships of Hive Fleet Gorgon in 075902.M41 attacked the Tau colony of Ka'mais. A Fleet of Necron ships emerges from Ka'mais' dead moon, and exterminated the Nids in orbit, then harvested Ka'mais. That is from Page 18 of the Nid codex

  • @Rykanable In an army of trillions, the only way in which men dying could be a threat to the survivability of the Imperium would be if they died in the billions - they don't.

  • @phocjame They die in the trillions.

  • @ImperatorDominatus If they were to lose a trillion soliders per five years for example, there's no way they would have survived this long because the forces simply could not be replenished quickly enough and would dwindle into nothingness within a hundred years.

  • @ImperatorDominatus Indeed, in your own video "Visions from the 41st Millennium: Introitus" the narrator specifically states that they die "by the billions" which while still a high number, could be sustained substantially longer by an empire of a million worlds.

  • @phocjame My mistake, then. In the grand scale of things, I would imagine they'd be easily losing men by the trillions in all their various campaigns. Guess not.

  • @ImperatorDominatus It certainly is a valid conclusion to come to, but it is difficult to figure out the losses and replenishment the Imperium experiences.

  • @ImperatorDominatus I mean, what timeframe are we talking about here?

  • SPIT IN THEIR FACES!

    3:21

  • Great Khorne, please recieve this sacrifice of blood from this blasphemous heretics!"

  • 6:31

And that's attitude is why we love the Imperium.

    ~TheHolyDarkness Out~

  • Black Templars should be in as a subrace and have the ultimate in zealous quotes. Similar to 4:40 to 5:25 but for the entire race.

  • "Gee, a fictional empire survives in a fictional setting because the writers who write the fiction want it to survive. How strange.

You see, imaginary aliens cant "realistically" defeat imaginary humans in a universe that only exsists in books and assorted fluff simply because any laws of reality you may apply on 40k mean absolutely nothing to the people who decide what is and what isnt fluff."

I took this as an ass who doesn't know about fun, maybe you should SAY what you mean?

  • @GeneralSturnn The meaning is right there; he said the Imperium survives because the writers helped it, and that if they would stop helping it, it would fall. WELL OF COURSE! The entire universe is subject to what the writers want to do with it. Tommorow they could retcon most of the xenos factions into a non-threat if they could make another buck on it. I was attacking the "unrealism" of the Imperium surviving when faced with such "dire" threats, but it obviously came out wrong.

  • @machine3589 yes, your writing did come out wrong, but like i mentioned, I thought you were one of the faceless asshole's who attack roleplayer's, but since I found out I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

  • @GeneralSturnn No need to be sorry. It was just a misunderstanding.

  • @machine3589 I fail to see how the Imperium surviving is unrealistic. I mean, compared to the rest of the whole WH40k universe, how it is MORE unrealistic than all that other stuff. It's not like their enemies are unite, they slaughter eachother on every occasion, heck, the forces of Chaos and the Orks alone slaughter eachother on a daily basis.

  • @Rykanable I cant believe you read all that and concluded I was attacking the Imperium. Tell you what, read it again and then if you still think Im doing what you think I am, I will explain my position to you.

  • @machine3589 Nah, I just wanted to say I don't really understand how you think the surviving of the Imperium is "unrealistic". If yI somehow misunderstood your post, please go ahead and enlighten me.

  • @Rykanable From my post: -I was attacking the "unrealism" of the Imperium surviving when faced with such "dire" threats-, I wrote here that I attacked the supposed unrealism, i.e. I was pointiong out the error in logic when saying the Imperium surviving is unrealistic. For better or for worse, nothing in 40k is unrealistic because the entire setting is unrealistic, and the writers can change things at a drop of a hat (ex. Narvhal).

  • @machine3589 Ah goodie, thanks for making that clear :)

  • this is amazing, makes me want to play DOW again...

  • Faith is all that matters.

  • @KlaymenSk Where i go do ye gather and take up arms ..... etc etc. I think thats what he says

  • Of course space marines get all the attention again.

  • "Where I go, do ye Galar!"

Galar? Is that even a word?

  • @GripTightThin Where I go "something" gather and take up arms....etc. Al least I see it that way.

  • @GripTightThin gather

  • "What a Glorious day to Die," best short line in the game.

  • @2oneessay Our deaths shall be MAGNIFICENT!

  • ONLY IN DEATH THUS THE DUTY ENDS !!!!!!! BEST WARCRY EVER

  • @00Partyfox00 it says only in death does duty end.

  • The first two and a half minutes is just pure glory.

  • 12 didnt get the last rites

  • Know you fool..That not even here on this infernal rock,we will NOT tolerate heretics nor xenos!

  • @rayman359 He says Not even here on this desecrated infernal rock will we suffer the existence of the heretic. Or something to that effect. The "not" at the beginning makes the sentence work.

  • Considering all this, that Humanity goes against all Odds EVEN WHEN THE ELDAR foresee that Humans will fall, and then humanity does NOT fall but also gains the victory, shows how the humanity's faith, courage and strength makes them capable of overcoming -ANYTHING-. Underestimating those who have conquered most of the galaxy and have overcome their own "Fall" (Horus Heresy" is very foolish. Don't get excited because you have fancy pulse rifles, technology is not all in war.

  • @Eobryne Only reasons Imperium is still breathing is because Games Workshop is calling the shots and their not interested in it making since. 40K is the biggest case of "Humanity always wins" and "Humans are special." If we took those little facets away the Imperium would crumble like a deck of cards. Don't Laud the Imperium it's not that great, surviving off of nothing but technicalities alone.
