I have sat, entranced, through all of your videos eagerly awaiting the next. Your enthusiasm for life inspires me! I sincerely hope that your 'reluctant farewell' is so that you can take a breather and catch up on your many responses, rather than as a result of any upset caused by a few opportunist fools. I'm sure I don't have to remind a man like you that negative words/actions like those say nothing about you, but speak volumes about those making them.
I presume that you were trying to encourage us who are fortunate to still have older family members to talk to them, which I can only agree with. Peter however unlike many older people was happy to chat at length to ultimately thousands.

it's a terrible shame that your hand has been forced to click the close button on your videos as they have far more worth than a lot of rubbish on here... i fully support your action to stop and can ONLY dream that those responsible for making it a necessity for you to stop recording realise for one second what they have done.

I would like to thank you for telling such wonderful stories. Being Vietnamese-American, there was always a language barrier between my grandfather and I, and so I never really got to hear the stories from the older generation. I was happy to hear that your life went so well, and hope that I will be as cheerful, and respectable as yourself when I grow older.

I have sat, entranced, through all of your videos eagerly awaiting the next. Your enthusiasm for life inspires me! I sincerely hope that your 'reluctant farewell' is so that you can take a breather and catch up on your many responses, rather than as a result of any upset caused by a few opportunist fools. I'm sure I don't have to remind a man like you that negative words/actions like those say nothing about you, but speak volumes about those making them.

I presume that you were trying to encourage us who are fortunate to still have older family members to talk to them, which I can only agree with. Peter however unlike many older people was happy to chat at length to ultimately thousands.

No, I think that Peter was alluding to the fact that some unscrupulous folks might take his absence and try to exploit it by "pretending" to be him (which is why the song was over those notes). He is quite a wise man.

I just starting watching your clips today and I was hooked. I'm 27 and from Michigan in the state, I grew up riding motorcycles, they are my life. I would like to thank you for telling such wonderful stories. Being Vietnamese-American, there was always a language barrier between my grandfather and I, and so I never really got to hear the stories from the older generation. I was happy to hear that your life went so well, and hope that I will be as cheerful, and respectable as yourself when I grow older.
