Hilarious!!! I've only tried flexi rods once. After I took the rods out I left the curls in tack and pinned down my roots with large Bobby pins then let it finish drying completely for another day and all night. I really liked the results. I separated the curls gently putting them back into there curl. I also got the same look just doing larger coils and pinning them down at the roots and ends to stretch them and let them dry over night. How this helps but yours came lookin good either way.
BTW, I really did like it. You did a great job this time. I am going to try mine tonight. Wish me luck. BTW, how may rods did you end up using. I don't think I have enough, but I will try to make it work.

They say third time's a charm!! U did good by getting a setting lotion, that definitely helped. But try a little bit of gel, a hair butter, or anti humectant to control the frizzies. Also, when you get ready to take them out, put a little bit of oil on your fingers to help keep the curls in tact :) btw...u are foolish!! Love the vids :)

I'm sorry but, LOL! You CRAZY GIRL! That's how may hair normally turn out also until I discovered Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy treatment. It does wonders for my 4c hair. It does not get bone straight, but loosen the kinks enough so that I can do something with it! And it does goes back to 4c after 30 days.

Girl I had to learn from trial and error. when it doesn't come out the way you want it you can pin up the front. Try putting end wraps on your ends and when you roll the flexi rod counter clockwise fold the top part of the rod in the opposite direction but you have to do them all in the same direction .

You need to apply products to it. Setting lotion or light gel to set it while rolling it. When you touch your hair after it is dry, you need to have serum on your hands, not a lot but enough so that when you touch your hair it smoothes over it & doesn't cause it to frizz. Your hair needs to be bone dry before you even think of removing the rods. If your hair frizzed and pouffed a lot when you went outside it was because you didn't put enough moisture & product in your hair while it was wet.

@msredwun I have one pack of long ones unopened. So I used 6 packs of long ones and 2 packs of short ones. Each pack had 6 flexies in it. So...around 45-48 flexies.
i liked it. it did come out considerably better.i have videos of when i did mines. my first one was an epic fail. then i tried it on blown out hair and it was a little better. but i ended up pincurling it and i liked that more.

@msredwun I have one pack of long ones unopened. So I used 6 packs of long ones and 2 packs of short ones. Each pack had 6 flexies in it. So...around 45-48 flexies.

i liked it. it did come out considerably better.i have videos of when i did mines. my first one was an epic fail. then i tried it on blown out hair and it was a little better. but i ended up pincurling it and i liked that more.

I was going to say not a failure! I think that when you took rods out, to seperate you take apart, but use finger to like retwist or recoil that should do it.
