  • Where do you go to do this?

  • after the war those helmets were turned into cooking pots

  • At 1:50 when you take the helmet out of the ground you are lucky it didn't have a skull attached to a body in it. The only plus about that would be that you would find more kit. (on the body/skeleton)

  • A bit of wd40 and that thing will probably still work

  • When you read German Helmet, Whats the first thing that comes to mind?

If it was Dirty Thumbs up!

  • Will you sell any of the helmets you've found?

  • DIG THE THING OUT B4 YOU TUG AT IT!!! ITS BEEN THERE 70 YRS SO IM SURE YOU HAVE ONE SPARE SECOND TO TAKE A BIT OF CARE..

THE SLOWER YOU GO THE MORE YOU FIND.

  • Helmet seems to be in a good condition.Congratulations.

  • @112alone

I agree! Same here. Great find guys!

  • I have a helmet like that with SS on it

  • think about it you are holding on a helmet and the barrel of a gun that a man was using 60-70 years ago and he died in the biggest conflict known to man amazing just AMAZING. !!!! :D

  • this is my life dream. DONT DIG IT ALL UP BEFORE I GET OUT THERE!

  • That is nothing. I know where tunnel in Africa with many box of German weapon, helmets, bomb, big guns I could put my entire arm into barrel end as 13 year of age. And many machinegun, dozen's of box of rifle and parts for many gun. Even air bombs. My dad blow this cave closed when communist insurgent take over countryside.

  • Did you find a sceleton nearby? because if you look at 2:40 you can see a bullet hole in the helmet.. no one would have survived that.

    RIP to the unknown soldier

  • @Rami2k9 i think that the soldiers threw the helmets and everything into a put and possibly burned the bodies

  • imagine how scarty it would have been if a skeleton pops up and says "piss of you twat!"

    (oorlogsvondsten.nl)

  • die helm is heel mooi :)

  • these Dutchmen had luck. My dog dug up one big hole and i found a box in it. it was not old at all, but it was filled with CD's, rolling stone magazine and phone battery. WTF was that???

  • Do you give the items you find to a museum? Or do you keep them?

  • Wait, Did the Germans bury the weapons or were they abandoned and land has just covered them over time?

  • super cool

25 max. denk nou eens na man.

  • its all soooo cool !! not about the findings, but about the experience.. If i could ever go there and find something, i would give it to a museum or something, you know, not disrespecting the dead... not respectful when you take away from a dead man's his things

  • @biomasterizing Your right about that, above all it is the experience, being their and see the traces of the soldiers who fought their!

  • @glennetnixz yeah, its about you having creating your own picture of a battle that happened there, rather than watching it form TV with the same view as other viewers. there, you have the option to imagine how soldiers were fighting, and feeling great about what you discovered there

  • @glennetnixz location ?

  • hoi. :)

    vandaag onze eerste metaaldetector aangekomen.

    ram vet!!

hopenlijk hebben we er veel lol mee.

en laat de vondsten maar komen!!

    gr loek

  • you should post a vid on tyour findings after being cleened

  • i have always wanted to do this :D Walk onto a random battlefield and dig up people's grave. A must do in life

  • Why do they swear in English?

  • @DanJM14

Lol, thats like a second nature to us (Dutch) and i think its to entertain the viewers also :)

  • lol the helmet looks burnt i got a feeling that the guy died cuz he got blown up by a grenade or somthong =[

  • the thing near the barellwhasent that a tank thing tho the bands

  • Good Find Buddy.

  • great find man!

  • i think all of these items should be engraved with the real holder's name, and then sent to the family

  • What if a skull had fallen out of that helmet? Yikes. Anyway, great video.

  • shit music for thr brain dead

  • I think it is a good hobby, and you are finding great things of interest...

but stop and think what your doing, the way your pulling things out of the ground is not professional, one day you will just dig up something that ether is disrespectful to the war dead or is likely to blow you up!

    But who wants to lecture...

  • just to say do not restore any of these how they are jsut clean them it raises the price tag! dont restor@!

  • Hi,i believe if you want your items to rust away and fall to bits...leave them as they are,,,,if you want to keep them forever...restore them,to a decent level condition.

  • do you need speacial permission or do yall just dig, ive dug for civil war artifacts and getin trouble every time. just want to know.

  • So fucking cooooooooool , love old history things like this. fucking awesome! Nice upload! keep it coming!

  • I really wish I could take up metal detecting as a hobby but unfortunately where I live there aren't ww1/2 battlefields.

  • hehe, how do you know where to dig? ;P

  • What if a skull was found in the helmet.. numbnuts!

  • @svejseko So what if it did? Then you contact the proper authorities to find out whom it belonged too and perhaps its helps someone that lost a loved one in the war....No point in calling ppl names just because you disagree with what they are doing.....

  • @svejseko Yea, I wonder how many bodies were just reburied? AND, does this stuff have any REAL value? I mean I COLLECT wwii items, and I HAVE WWII relics that were "dug up", but they are BY FAR not my most valuable pieces..

  • Hey guys, thanks for the reactions! We never have found the remains of a soldier. Some helmets are indeed from former graves, but they are probably already dug up in the1950s ore so. The helmets where just put back in the hole.,

If we do find a field grave, we contact the authorities as rucksack says, and they will know what to do. Thats the least we can do! Its just a great hobby and I want to keep it that way. Greetings G

  • It IS a GREAT hobby. And as long as you treat the dead with the HONOR they deserve.

  • Exactly!

  • @glennetnixz he is the gun still operational? is there anyway to fix it? and im 14 is there a certain age requirement to do this? how much are metal detectors thx.

  • Keep it, you'd need something as a helmet stand XD

  • It looks like this fellow was sitting in a hole and had a machine gun aimed at forces advancing at him. Then he took a lick and slumped down into the hole which was covered sooner or later by nature or more warfare. The helmet looked like was down lower than the gun-barrel. He must have slumped off to the side when hit.

  • they are digging like pigs

  • It's like digging up a treasure that was left for them by soldier in the past.

  • i think it is sad to think of who owned the relics and what they were like. or even what they were doing when they died

  • i agree with you , it is so sad

  • Super find!!! Can I metal detecting in Germany? is it like USA?

  • Glennetnixz, you seem to find a lot of helmets!

I can't believe the condition of that liner! I have a German helmet that's never been in the ground yet it's liner looks more fragile! Very dry and almost brittle.

  • Echt super vet!

  • Could you send me a PM on where to search for stuff like this? It's amazing!I'm a big ww2 fan and I would love to find old stuff like this!

  • Shut the fuck up you dirty american. Nazi and German war artifacts are better than any crappy american ones any day

  • thats true

  • Do you have to have a permit or can anyone just dig up stuf in the forest ?

  • nice finds. cheers from U.S.A.

  • your dumb

  • hes isnt a nazi he is a normal person that lives in germany and the nazis are gone!

  • hmm do i care ! your still racist the way u said it relating 2 germans and nazis so your a racist dutish !

  • So... you're racist for assuming he is a Nazi?

    STFU hypocrite. :)

Get real.

  • whites matrix m6 for 450€ new!

    gr timo

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! i whent to every pawn shop every antiec store called ww2 shops all over the world. and i cant find a single ww2 helmet. but some idiots dig a hole in the ground and find oneand just say fuck . it makes me sick, i would charish the helmet, the guy must of been dead with a k98 and a helmet together. smells like a old grave.

  • go to local or kinda far away gun shops i live in south dakota and i found i guy selling almost every kind of helmet. They go for $300 to around $600

  • Well since the majority of helmets, firearms, medal, badges etc are found without any bones present, then it doesn't really smell like an 'old grave' does it. Most diggers never encounter bones, and that can be for various reasons like time and animals, but it can also be because many helmets and equiptment were abandoned during battles.

  • you cant find a helmet? no offense but what are you slow in the head? check ebay, craigslist, all over the internet i could find 50 in a day luckily i have both my grandfathers and their m1's and everything and a couple german flags and knives they took off the krauts the killed!

  • In the US we'd call the barrel find a "barrelled receiver with trigger". If you look around you may find the stock parts such as the barrel bands and trigger guard, although they may have rusted away.

  • are you allowed to do that???

  • probably not since technicly its goverment property beacuse when i visted gettysburg we were told not to touch anything beacuse it belongs to the goverment

  • maybe it's differnt over there ?

  • that's awesome!

  • is dit in Nederland?

    groetjes uit amsterdam

  • Hello from U.S. Nice vid! have you found many K98K's in ok condition?

  • and u have found???

  • Not impressed, they seem just crude and greedy idiots wielding spades about...

  • hey you found my helmet! JK....GREAT FIND!!

  • you should make a movie on your show case so we could see everything while its all clean and has no dirt on it :-)

  • Next movie Ill put some photos in it of the relics before and after cleaning, greetings from Holland

  • m42 niceeeeeeeeee

  • i'd love to go to germany and search for some stuff lol..that'd be heaps cool. do you do this for a hobby or something?

  • the best way to retrieve stuff from the ww2 age is to search abandoned bunkers :/ Digging for stuff is kinda dangerous because old ammunition could still go off.

  • how do you know where to find them? do you use metal detectors or something?

  • hear the birds =)

    wo wart ihr genau?

    which place was it??

    greets from germany

  • How many helmets have you found? You seems to have found almost atleast 1 at every video you have upload. : p

  • Hi Panzer, I only make a movie when I find something special. Till now I found 5 German helmets. But I have been to Germany many, many times, mostly finding ammo! But its dogged does it ;-)

  • Some Russians found a near perfect ss helmet on one of these vids. The poor bastard caught something under the chin and blsated his poor brains out and the helmet the found on what was left of his head came out of the mud in near perfect condition execept for the holes in the top of the shell helm.Still had the original ss decals in perfect condition. After nearly 60 years in the mud! damn and I say again damn that was a good find. Now give the man a proper burial.

  • oh i saw a comments, u speak english

when are u gunna go look for more?

  • Well I went back a couple of times but didnt do any spectacular finds, some nice British field microphones, a British bayonet, some piat-granades, etc. It is hard to find nice things.

  • what are you talking about?

a bayonet and granades are amazing finds

  • A bayonet is indeed a nice find, but I am always to late with filming with smaller finds. I will make a photo/film-movie soon with finds from the last couple of months, greetings!

  • what would you say is a great find or just amazing to you

  • check my lates video for some smaller finds from the last 6 months, do you surge yourself?? greetings

  • no i dont but iv always found it interesting

  • Du Hast Mich?

  • These guys were pulling the rifle barrels while facing the muzzle. The final pull revealed there was no trigger guard and if loaded, could have fired & killed the finder. Scary hobby? Thanks for sharing.

  • please found more !!

  • nice find guys, lovely helmet.ive been searching for 5 weeks now and only found english and german bullets.did you find this items near aachen?good luck on your next time..groetjes

  • bedankt for the reply, still searching but might have to go just over the boarder in germany?to find some good stuff.maybe theres still places in holland also?Good luck on your next adventure...

  • Any thought that someone died while wearing it?

  • Yes, its possible. their was a war going on ;-) But in this situation probably not.

  • klasse jongens!!!!

  • nice i want an original helmet. i wonder who that one belonged to

  • Can someone answer my question? When you hunt for with a metal detector, do you need a permit or something like that. becouse I live in Sweden and apperently it's illegal to hunt for stuff, unless your huntnig for your own missing stuff..

  • depends where! in bulge areas of belgium and luxbourg sems fine. In germany you can get 2000 euro fine and your detector confiscated. at least that is situation around berlin. i dont think the poles or baltic states mind. some openly sell stuff they found on net and you can pay to go with them and keep stuff you find

  • If they found a skull in the helmet, were they obliged to report it? Thanks.

  • Yes I think you have to tell the local authority in the area. But then you give away that you been digging so you might get in truoble. I would do it ananymously. Or contact the german war graves people kriegs grabenverzorging. They will send someone to investigate

  • Some good finds-lots of history packed into those items!

  • Oow lees het net pas ;) duitsland.

  • You know the gloves that you have I have the same one

  • mooie vondsten weer !!

    Buitenland ?? ;)

    groeten

  • Nice video.
