  • My favourite.

  • İt's amazing try it with a slice of lime.

  • Try putting an orange slice in this. I personally think it makes it taste better

  • i love this. favourite beer.

  • by rights it's prounouned HUgaaden. I like white beer, but I've tasted better. There are better versions that come from Germany. Although it's still better than Bud Light Lime, but that isn't hard

  • I found this beer last week & might get one for a try one of these days b4 its gone from the shelf. This is a wit(wheat)beer as far as i understand. cheer's. I dunno where the glass is sold

  • I also like the white HOEGAARDEN,but this is the kind of beer you drink let's say three times a year.

  • One of my favorites by far. Drinking a bottle right now in fact. It has a nice smooth taste and an interesting after taste.

  • want another opinion?!? check out the sass monsters, beer reviews and much more.

    GOOGLE SASS MONSTERS

  • wanted to like it, but its soapy, bland, lacks any of those coriander or orange peel smells I was promised. leffe is better. altho not the corked bottles, they're just too sugary.

  • @cgavin1 i agree with you on the leffe front, but hoegaarden is still one of my favourites. Still, each to their own, there's plenty to go around...

  • One of my favorites. I'm drinking it as I write this.

  • pronounced who garden

  • Oh damn, you mentioned the American Pie thing LOL! AHAHAHA

I was buying beer with my friend yesterday and we were trying to decide what to buy and I almost bought this tuff until I saw it said on the box something about cloudy color....I don't drink hefenwiezens or ANYTHING with a cloudy color after seeing american pie.....and it just looks gross in a glass. It was the most expensive beer on the rack orginal price 19.99 and with a fry's card 13.99

  • You poured it the wrong way!

  • Tasted like what an ash tray smells like..but some people like it I don't..But that is what makes beer interesting..

  • @robiskul Indeed. Thankfully, there is just such a wide variety of beer styles that there's bound to be something for everyone.

  • @robiskul my guess is you are a smoker with a ruined sense of smell.

  • whore-gaarden heheh =]

  • Was not a fan of it...tasted like dishwater to me...

  • "Who-garden" ;) (It says it on the six pack)

  • not enough foam on top :)

it has to have foam from about under the "Hoegaarden" logo to about the edge

  • delicious beer

  • belgium beers are the best

  • $2 a bottle? Must be that Canadian dollar. I can pick up a sixer for $9.99

I like the beer in the summer, not top of the line, though. A give it a 4/5, 4.5/5 if you take in account the price and the warm temperatures outside.

  • Yuck for beer snobs only strange flavour

  • @MrSkunkd0c I disagree. Some people like it, some don't. But you don't have to be a "snob" to enjoy it.

  • @elharlock kind of like Heineken. Some people like it, while some people don't

  • @elharlock beer snob = beer enthusiast

i do not share your political correctness the word snob does not offend me

i am sorry i hurt your feelings

    peace bro

  • @MrSkunkd0c It has nothing to do with political correctness, and my feelings are not hurt in the slightest. I'm just pointing out that you're wrong in thinking there's not a difference. It's been a year and you haven't managed to figure that out?

  • @elharlock You sir are "wrong"

Everything you thought you knew was "wrong"

I can imagine you love telling folk they are wrong about things

what makes you think you have the authority to tell anyone they are wrong about an opinion ?

I hope that with time and experience of life you will learn how to distinguish your own opinions from facts :)

  • @MrSkunkd0c You've yet to distinguish your own opinion of "beer snob = beer enthusiast" as not being fact. Fantastic blinders you're wearing there, nut case. Either that or you're trolling. Blocked.

  • Its pronounces (Hoo-Garden)

  • 50p a bottle over in the UK... and you're pouring it wrong!

  • haha nice.

  • well does Canada have google?

  • Nope.

  • @smittylovesays Everyone has google.

  • @smittylovesays not yet.

  • who - garden

when you purchase six pack lift the carrier handle.

  • Thanks for being about a year late on the proper way to say it, and otherwise making no sense to me, because I don't get the six packs.:)

  • its pronounced "Ho Haarden" the "g" is H sound

  • Good beer too bad it's like $40 US

    thats a lot

  • I agree with TerrySleeper , Hoegaarden is the best beer ever!!!

  • You sound exactly like seth rogen ! :)

Also you sound like your struggling to breath :)

  • Holy shit, he does. That's wild.

  • its pronounced ho-garden an your is only 4.9% we get the 5.5% in Scotland and in Belgium its about 9%

  • Yeah, I know it's only 4.9% ABV. I stated this in the video. Are you sure you're not thinking about their Grand Cru (8.7% ABV) and Hoegaarden Speciale (5.6% ABV)? Because those are different beers than the standard Hoegaarden Wit.

  • It's actually pronounced who-gaarden, or hoo-gaarden.

  • no its the same as Hoe white beer as the 1 in ur vid well apart that a drink the Big ass 750ml bottles. A traveled in Europe an went to Belgium and all the beers and lagers that we have in Britain and the rest of the world are apparently weaker versions

  • Best beer in the world.

    'nuff said.

  • my favourite!!!!

  • Superb beer, you might also like to try Andechs, which is a great German beer

  • I'm sorry, but I can't stand the sound of your voice in your beer reviews.Gosh, you're huffin and puffin every time you talk; like you haven't exercised in years.

  • Gosh, I'm sorry, you must have mistaken me for someone who cares.

  • Sure thing, princess.

  • If anybody's the princess, it's you, princess. You're the only who likes Dandelion flavored wine...err....Hoegaarden.

  • Yeah, I like it, but it's hardly my favourite beer. Anyway, if you honestly think Hoegaarden's taste is akin to wine, you've got issues...you know, besides being another of the countless pathetic YouTube trolls.

  • What in the fuck are you talking about?

  • Might sound strange but i like it best in cans...You should definitly try the Hoegaarden Grand Cru. Maybe harder to get in the US - luckly i work at the hoegaarden brewery :-)

    Enjoy...

  • Well, I'm not in the US, so it's probably even hered to get here.:) But if I ever come across it I will review it.

  • Damn, I love this beer

  • Hoegaarden on tap, no fruit = delish. It's so much better on tap. However, since InBev took over and improved distribution, I have noticed that the beer at the stores is MUCH MUCH fresher and easier to get. USD$12 per 12pack around here is a good price. I love this beer, and I have yet to have a so-called "Belgian White" that is as good. Blanche de Bruxelles is good, but not as good as Hoegaarden, and not worth the price.

  • Looked at reviews and the most where positive, so i gave it a shot.

In combination with a horrid movie (dragonball evolution) I could only drink half the glas until it went into the bottle again.....

I opened my Rochefort 8, drank it and felt happy again.

  • You drank it from the bottle? That's half the problem right there.

  • As i said: " I could only drink half the glas".

I never drink out of the bottle..

  • Hey, you forgot to swirl up the bottom of the bottle. It's like juice from concentrate - you gotta shake it up.

  • Yeah, kind of forgot to do that. I'll shake it up next time when I do a Hoegaarden taste test in different glasses.

  • damn... went to a bar and drank it, it tasted like they watered it down compared to the one i drank from the bottle... bastards!

  • That means they gotta shake up the keg.

  • It's 10 bucks a 6 pack here in southeast missouri. It always kinda reminded me of sour kraut, in a good way.

  • I just tried Hoegaarden at Maxwell's Plum this evening and I thought it was enjoyable. They served it cloudy with a lemon wedge. At first I was like "WTF" but once I tried it I was pleasantly surprised! I think this is exactly what I'd want on a really hot summer's day.

  • Well, on general principle I never add fruit to a beer. I do realize that it's a popular thing to do with white beers, but Hoegaarden doesn't need anything added, in my opinion. Indeed, it's a great summer beer.

  • It is actually pronounced "who-garden". Probably the best beer on the planet in my opinion.

  • if you say hoigaarden one more time i will be pissed. SWIRL THE BOTTLE dude get that rich foamy head. delicious

  • Oh dear, I wouldn't want some random YouTube kid pissed at me.

  • sorry bro didnt mean to sound pissed, i get excited about my beers. but you should do a vertical tasting of a magic hat pack. Or try and find a nice IPA

  • i don't know but when i tried one i had tasted onions! lol. and never went back, i might try it again... who knows.

  • Onions? Wow. I think you may have had a bad bottle.:)

  • most likely that, or i was eating something with onions on my breath or mouth, lol.

But i think i'll give it another try.

  • Smells like fucking oranges!! Lol. Picked it up randomly at a grocery store, and one of the only ones I drink here on out. Wish I could get it off tap though. Where did you get the glass?

  • I got both that and my Leffe Blonde glass from a special promotional deal years ago, when those beers were first showing up in my liquor store. It should be noted that they are the mini versions of the real glasses that you find in pubs.

  • On tap hoegaarden is the nicest beer ever, it goes down a treat.

  • Hey its "WHO-GARDEN" and its good stuff

  • It's great with a slice of limon.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • Yeh it is great with a slice of lemon and lime, you should try it.

  • Excellent beer, very flavourful and well rounded.

  • It ferments a second time - while it's in the bottle, that's why it is cloudy

  • Yup, I know.:)

  • That and the wheat proteins

  • Ahh, intresting. Thank you for the info!

  • the 'Hoe' is pronounced just like 'who' in English :)
