Moroccan Cabbage Salad

This is the first time I come across boiling the cabbage and mashing it. It is very easy instead of cutting.

I want to make this tongt.! I think that in order to reatain the most nutrients from cabbage, I would thinly slice, and steam then proceed as shown.

I can tell this salad is awesome because My mom used to make it almost the same way back in Russia. In fact a lot of recipes I find among your videos are similar to what she used to cook for us. I don't know is the Russian and Moroccan cuisines are similar or maybe because my mom was a chef and she liked to experiment with different food..
