@FieldOfDarkness Erm might be a bit of a trick of the eye. Its actually closest to the camera. Its a Sabian Ozone splash 10". Nicest splash sound you can buy with money and don't let anyone tell you any different!

That groove from 1:04 onwards... what are you feet doing there? is it just straight singles, but with the left foot hopping from bass drum pedal to hihat pedal? if so, what exactly is the pattern for the left foot?

To answer your question (I should have filmed the feet, ill do that next time), keep your right foot on the kick pedal and your left on the HH pedal for the whole thing. I am not shifting pedals with my left foot cos it makes my balls itch when i do that. Basically think of the right foot pattern as 3 - 2 - 3 - 2 etc etc but you'll notice I just start things of with a single hit on the kick just to make things end up in one place!
@XerathBand thanks for your reply, i think i got it now. it makes for a sick beat and really fucks with my head. thanks for the image of your itchy balls. it would also be pretty cool if you kept the 3 2 3 2 3 2 pattern and switched it up by making it a double bass groove by sticking your left foot in there, making it 5 3 5 3 5 3. (kind like in 'my frailty' by after the burial). i can't stop thinking about how brutal that would sound.
Personally I prefer this over insanely fast constant blasting and doubles. It's more creative and demonstrates more diversity which in term produces more colorful music so to say.
