  • did you get more points for the double flip?? :O)

  • ...hm...I'm not ready for that landing technique yet

  • Looks like he banged his knees just before the water, ouch...

  • I can help you...

  • ownd

  • Too effing high (only) judging the video.

  • down wind even, yeah... lil low

  • Big fat zero for that one dude.

  • Awesome! I'm sure one of those landings had a great plf position. I just couldn't quite tell through all the water spray!

  • Take care dude, the fatality list is growing much too quick!

  • it's the real freestyle bro :))

  • Awesome MAN!!! I was just at FlyGang a month ago for the first time. Thats so funny because i was watching the crash and I was thinking "Man that sure looks like FlyGang" Then I saw your description of Molinella!!! PM me I got a good video to send you from the boys at Molinella. Were you watching the PD factory swoop team there as well??? Where is your dropzone?

  • Bro thank god it was water.

  • nice.. whats your wingloading??

  • with that canopy my wingload was 1.44

  • @11airon11 olà là si swooppaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :-)

  • You come too low because you didnt take into account the downwind.

It changes your planeout picture severely and you easilly end up in the corner when downwinding..

  • that's right....

the biggest problem was strong downwind...but the worst thing i did was to not give up and try to recover with only rear risers instead of passing to toggles..

i learned much more from that landing, than from many good ones.

  • I learned the same lesson some time ago also. The thing with the downwind is that you easilly wont notice your in the corner before its too late. And switching to toggles at that point wont make much difference. With normal winds you normally see it coming early if you are going too low. Then you can easilly switch to toggles. The problem is less dangerous if you KNOW in before hand that most likely your planeout picture should look a bit high now that your going downwind.

  • that's right..

now i know on my own skin...

that was the third jump of the day, and in the first two i was very conservative on the gate and i missed it for a couples of centimeters...in that jump i went down a little more aggressive to catch the gate, and my perception was to be ok, but only in the last meters i noticed i was moving forward really fast because of the wind and i was still in the corner...

the wind was at about 7/7,5 m/s

  • @11airon11 What do you mean by "in the corner" ?

  • @BMFin Are you saying the 'picture' changes? Or that the parachute actually takes longer to plane out when going down wind?

  • @pulsejet1 Like I already said, the picture changes. Visuals look different due to different ground speed. This doesnt change how the canopy flies in the air. It just changes the visuals.

  • ouch :S

  • Porcatr**a che legnata!
