if you're riding brakeless you actually burn through tires faster doing skip stops than these long skids - because on these your weight isn't on the rear wheel at all.
from an old bmxer/fixie rider, the trick is to put as much weight over the front as you can, pretend like yer flying, and don't over back pedal the rear tire, otherwise, you loose too much speed.
are these just dry clean asphalt roads? or is there light sand and gravel on them. because i cant skid that far on plain pavement, but i can almost flip my bike with my forward lean.
i just dont see how those 200+ foot skids are possible on clean flat pavement.
