This ending was sad to me because their parents died. I find it a happy ending that Mike woke up, bittersweet that it caused the Raposa to vanish, but depressing that, despite how happy they look at the very end, their parents are supposedly dead.
I prefer to think the parents were just unconcious and were in another room being treated while Mike was waking up. Doesn't look like he was in a coma for TOO long, if the cops are still there...

First of all, just because the Raposa sprang from Mike's imagination doesn't make them any less real. They lived and loved, they were real.
And it's not like Mike's never going to dream again, right?
Sure you can't live in dreams forever, that's a given. Mike's journey to awakening is wonderful. But dreams are part of what makes life REAL. All this means is that as Mike awakens, the Raposa and the Hero slumber, perhaps to dream of when next they wake.
@marioescalante68 His parents don't die in the car crash. They just aren't shown in the credits. At the very end, though, When Heather is hugging Mike, the police officer can be seen calling out the door. I assume that he is calling his parents and others to tell that Mike is awake.
I cried so much at the end. ;A; I sort of knew that it would have some sort of death scene, though. Just for the fact that it was established in the first game when the mayor died that they were prepared for more of a dark storyline in the sequel.

@TheRj2202 The second eye isn't so hard. I usually stay behind the conveyer belt and jump whenever the fire goes for my feet. I usually use the shooter weapon for this boss since shooting from a distance makes it much easier than coming up close to get shot at. Hope that helps.

In my words: This ending sucked. Anything that uses the gay twist ending of 'all of this is a dream' sucks. The only exception is Inception, due to the fact it is the concept of the movie.

Maybe in the 'heavy tree crashing on Mike and giving him a coma' ending, Wilfire was maybe the smoke generated from the yummy marshmallows they were roasting. Well, maybe when the tree crashed on Mike, his eyesight nearly failed. So he maybe saw Wilfire evilly laughing in the smoke!

@sonicfan283 the whole two DTL games happened because Mike was comatose, and the Raposa world was based on his day prior to the crash, with the Raposa dolls, etc. Heather's strange look is because she had half of her face damaged in the crash, and it was reflected in Mike's "dream". When Colour was restored, Mike woke up and the Raposa World ceased to exist, at least, until Mike goes to sleep at night, which is why when you play post-game Mike is sleeping.
But, I have the drawn to life pack on the DS ( Drawn to life 1 and 2), so I don't really know that it's different from Drawn to life 2 (the NOT drawn to life pack with 1 and 2).

Eh... My end is different... I see a drawed guy (Mike), who climbs a tree. He's falling out of the tree. Then, you can see a drawed girl (Heather) running to Mike. She's kneeling down to him, and crys. The parents are running to Mike too and helping him either. The parents give up and go away, only Heather stays with Mike. Then, Mike's eyes open a little bit and he smiles to Heather. At the end, you can see TWO dolls who are Mari and Jowee. The end made me cry, with the dolls...
no i think mari and jowee might be the parents. even though they did get them at the carnival, the dolls could be symbolic for the parents who died the same day

@L5940 You see, Heather was Mike's sister, and evidentally a very close sister. At the carnival, heather won him two little dolls that we now know as Raposa (Jowee and Mari). They got into a car accident, and Mike went into a coma. This whole dream world that he invented while he was in his coma had several things that he cherished in it. Heather, being his close sister, naturally made her way into his dream as one of the characters.
I just relised something! this game is sorta religious coz wilfre is kinda like the devil keeping mike in his comma and the creator is kinda like god and take another look at Mari and Jowees names... Mari-Jowee Mary-Joseph........

wtf I didnt get this ending! I got all the pirate beard coins and it said congratulations! you have unlocked a different ending! and it showed pictures of mike and heather and the parents and the parents fall in a river and drown and mike falls off a tree with shock and knocks himself into a comma
i thought the ending was great and all but it doesnt seem to fit too well with the game itself, sure theres hints in just about every scene how it relates to part of the game but still. my friend told me how it ended before i played and i had to look up who mike was since he never really was a huge character in the first game. still a great game and story overall :3 kudos to 5th cell :D

I believe that the raposa live on.
I think the creator is all of us using our imaginations showing how powerful the power of color is.
Jowee and Mari aren't 'real' but in a way they are 'real'.
But, I think the Raposa are real. That is because they ARE.

wtf I didnt get this ending! I got all the pirate beard coins and it said congratulations! you have unlocked a different ending! and it showed pictures of mike and heather and the parents and the parents fall in a river and drown and mike falls off a tree with shock and knocks himself into a comma

i thought the ending was great and all but it doesnt seem to fit too well with the game itself, sure theres hints in just about every scene how it relates to part of the game but still. my friend told me how it ended before i played and i had to look up who mike was since he never really was a huge character in the first game. still a great game and story overall :3 kudos to 5th cell :D

it was raining ... cant rem not smoke or fast ..... i tried to look away brings an ending were he falls off a high tree on a picnic

@SuperSaiyan4Shadic Maybe it's kinda like a director's cut sorta thing. I just got a newer copy of the game, and I was like "WTH?!" My friends and I even debated which would ACTUALLY put you in a coma; Car crash, or falling out of a tiny tree? XD
