Going ahead and killing "anything thats alive that is in our way of making things easier" is not a principle of civilized society. That is a far greater extreme than the expiration of an embryo.

And the whole argument that an embryo is "alive" is really a matter of interpretation. The argument of abortion and the banning of it is also heavily rooted in religious jargon; The idiots who say that abortion is murder are the same that say God didn't create gay people.
