I remember thinking this game had some great visuals back in the 80's...and they're still impressive to a good degree today. I only wished then and I wish now that Sega had made this installment of Zillion as epic as the first adventure. When you beat the first Zillion, you felt like you really accomplished something. I came away from beating Zillion II thinking that Sega had rushed it. Oh well, this video brought back some pleasant memories. Thanks for posting it!
@ElevatingPirate AAAAAAH nice! Thanks for that bit of history, i didn't know that at all. Now i have to pursue a Japanese system for collection purposes LOL :)
@Rakiarmas As much as I'd love to see one, I don't think Sega would want to due to the fact that the Master System/Mark III was completely overshadowed by the NES. Therefore, it's hardly well-known.
They already had plenty of those types of collections. Why do people always insist on them, just buy the old MasterSystem, the smaller version without 3d goggles is like $20. Use emulation, or there's the Sega PlayPal (portable 20in1).
Compelling argument. The level design, however, is just piss poor. It looks like the level designer got lazy in many areas and simply copy and pasted certain sequences of pits, jumps, enemies, etc as filler. It's incredibly unimaginative and doesn't look like the type of design that would be fun at all.
Btw, I apologize if you played this game when you were younger and since then haven't developed critical thinking skills, but this game looks bad, sounds bad and just smells
... I expect I shall have to provide a beating b/c your opinion is WRONG!11 :) lol
Prepare for a beatdown!11 Seriously the game just could've been put together a bit better. Even for master system, it's just really bland and samey. But yea.

I'm always supriced about quality of Master System games. They should release somesort of collection like they did with Megadrive/Genesis.
