  • Thank you, I love you! Haha.

  • Which of you bracelets would you recommend doing with an 8 year old? I'm a Big for Big Brother Big Sister and I'm always looking for ideas to do with my little. Any suggestions? P.S. I subscribed because I really enjoy your videos I just found them yesterday;)

  • @S8T8A8R On my channel (at the very top) I have a "Start Here" button- it will lead you to a page that has the videos I deem most beneficial to beginners in "easiest" to "progressing" order.

  • I really found you video very helpful I'm adding it to my favorites;)

  • @S8T8A8R Awesome, glad it was helpful to you.

  • thanks. im going to be making the heart pattern (hollow) with brown and cream strings (cream as being the heart) i have made several things from your videos and will be making more things in the future :-+

  • i love your videos. could you do some more or earrings and how do you get the L1 R1 thing on your clip broad is it written on sticky paper thin put on your clip broad??? would love to know :-)

  • @sewinghorse That's just a thin piece of office paper that I stick tape to (on the back) so it will stick.

  • Thanks for the video! I was so lucky to find It. I was having problems making the heart but your video was so easy to follow instuctions...justnin time for Valentines

  • AmaZinG

  • the colors of my hearts keep switching. idk whats wrong. :( great id btw

  • @AJfunvids Sounds like you may be missing (or) adding an extra chevron to the pattern. That or maybe you missed a mixed knot? Check my "Four types of knots" video and confirm the directions then see if it helps. Good luck.

  • @BeyondBracelets thanks!

  • AMAZING .. nuff' said ;D

  • You're a great teacher - thanks!

  • the thread is a lot of money in my country has it replace?

  • @gilad447 You can use any soft/pliable string. Just remember that thin string will make a very thin bracelet, thick string will make a very thick bracelet.

  • beyondbracelets i love love love your videos!!!! can u make a bracelet with little yellow ducks on it plzzzzzzz respond!!!!

  • @catvalentineluver I'll add it to the list if it isn't already. I may not get to it soon (or ever) but I will add it to my folder of requests.

  • this is great.[: i always do my own variation of this design, i skip the very first step so the hearts alternate in color. :P

  • @sarahl7432 That's a cool idea.

  • great vid...i think the holllow hearts are better than the filled hearts....i dont actually like wearing them round my wrist, i like making them into keychains

  • nice!!! thank u for your help.....

  • you are of great help. hope to do more patterns from you. you are easy to follow, but if you are still knotting I think you should still be explaining.

  • @lurdy911 I'm not sure what you mean. I usually talk through the entire process while I make the bracelet... unless you mean in future tutorials I should continue to talk through it.

  • Are you using embroidery floss? How do you keep consistent tension in eliminate any gaps?

  • xoxo c;

  • THANK YOU <3

  • what kind of knot do you use for joining the middle?

  • @ASnowLeopardsLily Any will work. They are the same colored strings. So long as they attach any knot can be made.

  • were u playing background music?

  • @nicnic201 Very low so it was barely audible... I was still new to videos at this point and it calmed me down so I didn't feel quite so 'on the spot'

  • Somehow one of the hearts right in the middle of my bracelet it started switching colors

  • @destinyrules909 Sounds like you missed a mixed fk/bk or bk/fk knot.

  • omg i love this braclet thank you so much

  • This is really easy to use and I appreciate the time you spend - I know it takes a lot of time! But mine keep turning out really gappy and hole-y. I think it's because I'm not pulling the strings tight enough, but I think I'll figure it out. Thanks!

  • @nonconformingXkid Go to my channel and click the banner where it says "Start Here" and you'll see the beginner playlist with troubleshooting and etc.

    /watch?v=iVKBIE9uMnk

  • Nice tutorial...good job! I'm impressed you are very good at teaching...Diamond Dar

  • can u please do a tuturial on the letter bracelets. could u do 1 to make the name. REBEKAH.

    THANKS

  • @queenrebekah100 Read my FAQ for name bracelets.

  • is this pattern on friendship-bracelets[dot]net? what is the pattern number?

  • @CookiMilki I learned it from Heather's Friendship Bracelets site... but I'm sure you could find it by searching FB.net for "Heart" in the search box. If you know how to refine the search on there (left of the screen when you're looking through patterns) then select "8" for number of strings to narrow it down so you can find this pattern more easily.

  • You are very talented

  • when yo say 65 inches does it always mwan you fold it in half?

  • @thebesties246 Yes.

  • Backward knot a 4 or no

  • @Jassy101Ms Check the video explaining the knots. YT SEARCH: "BeyondBracelets - The Four Type of Knots"

  • i love your videos lol keep making more when u r off of break

  • but awesome xx thanks.

  • @madzikundziak Try using the written description below the video if it's too fast. It might help you keep track better.

  • so fast!

  • God bless you :))

  • i wish you were my best friend, cuz then i would just ask you to make a bunch of bracelets for me xD

  • @pandabelly225 Even if we were I would only make one or two before I'd start charging you... =P

  • @BeyondBracelets is there a video for making bracelets with letters on them?

  • @CookiMilki Check my channel check out the banner at the very top- then click the "Name Bracelets" box on the banner.

  • @BeyondBracelets Thank you very much. Btw you are one of my favourite frienship bracelet makers, because your explanations are very brief and answer questions even though they are on videos that are like 1 year old. :D

  • your videos are so helpful!! thanks bunches :)

  • your videos are always awesome! and really help me to make the bracelets.

I have a question for you...can you make skull pattern? If you can, I want you to upload the tutorial video.

  • thank you so much for the video :D i was worried that this was going to be dificult but you made it so easy to understand ;] i'm so happy now .. i can make hearts <3<3 lol

  • are the strings 65 inches long each ?

  • @ilyjasonderulo 1 string cut 65 inches then you fold to get a double.

  • awesome thanks alot :)

  • Your my hero!! I would have been lost withought you! Thank you for such an awesome tutorial! My friend has been bothering me to make a heart bracelet since she heard that I had learnt how to make these XD Kinda jumping ahead though since I've done only 2 beginer bracelets XD

  • brilliant 4 once a tutorial i understand!! thanx xx

  • @horsemadmoo23 You're very welcome.

  • I'll comment!

    it was great.

  • Did you get my comment go pattern46746 I need help on that one plz and my hobbies are magic laneyards bracelets origami I know that was random

  • @Rodrickrules1 /watch?v=1NIBj64NUXw

  • Can you put more beginner videos because I've made all the beginner ones that you had

  • @Rodrickrules1 I'm working on it. I'm trying to fill requests- most requests are more difficult patterns.

  • Can a third color be introduced....for the interior of the heart?

  • @DarjeelingTea You'd probably have to be a bit more creative and use the alphabet bracelet substitution method if you wanted to fill the center. The outside of the heart are the strings used for the inside, it's hard to change them without changing parts of the background.

  • is it possible to make a few hearts, make a line, then put someones name, then a line and more hearts??

  • should i make this for my boyfriend??

  • @XxiSydneyxX Sure, just make sure to use something like red and black, gray and black or whatever other colors he likes.

(Just don't make it flamingo pink and purple otherwise his friends might think he's FAAA-BUUULOUS if you catch my drift.)

  • Do u have any beginner videos? I stumbled on this one n idk how ur making the "knots" lol but i wanna make a bracelet really bad xD

  • @macali2009 Yep. Check my channel banner and click where it says,"New To Friendship Bracelets? Start HERE!" and it will bring you to the beginner playlist that explains everything.

  • how would you use 3 colors for this heart pattern how would you set up the strings ty

  • @robert46124 Look at the video description and trade out either the (1) white positions for the background or the (2) heart positions.

Scramble them if you'd like but don't mix colors for the background -and- the heart or it will get lost and end up looking like a weird version of a rag-rug.

  • @BeyondBracelets ijust want to change the middle color witch strings is the middle of the heart im confused

  • @robert46124 The middle is also the background.

  • did i mess up cuz me secound heart was the oppistite? please answer

  • @kolbee00 You shouldn't have the second heart being the opposite color. Did you get confused and make the second heart right under the first?

What I mean is... did you repeat the "top" of the heart in the background color to create a space or did you just go right into the next heart?

  • @BeyondBracelets No? i did what it said, thats wierd o.O

  • @kolbee00 Then you must have made a FK or BK where a mixed (fk/bk or bk/fk) belonged.

  • @BeyondBracelets ok =) i pressed one of the lthumbs down or up button so if it says i thumbed downn im sorry

  • can u make a cow print one? like.... splotches?

  • thx, i really like my new bracelet!!! ;p

  • @BeyondBracelets thanks so much! thanks for everything actually aha! keep up the good work:)

  • @BeyondBracelets :) good.. and thanks to your videos im actually gonna buy embroidary floss? .. is that the string you use.. im new to finding quality string >.<

  • @fastswimmer1997 Yeah, I use six stranded embroidery floss. Usually DMC brand... but there are alternatives out there. Prism and DFN by Janlynn are both very good (cheaper) alternatives.

  • @BeyondBracelets

Thank you Soo much! And btw your videos rock! :D

  • @BeyondBracelets 1. im glad you have perserverence.. 2.. i cant believe i just talked to you :D

  • @fastswimmer1997 Haha, I always have been like that... challenges are awesome. =P

  • @BeyondBracelets I think your very talented in what you do and how you have the patience to atleast make as many videos as you have, and you don't have to prove to anyone that you are good at what you love!

  • @fastswimmer1997 I love a challenge. I don't have to prove it, no... but it gives me a reason to push myself to do something bigger than I normally would. lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets

Im having trouble coming up with an alpha pattern for a heart, can you please help me?

  • @iStillLoveYou1203 If you have five strings do this>

    Row 1: xoxox

    Row 2: ooooo

    Row 3: ooooo

    Row 4: xooox

    Row 5: xxoxx

    x- background

    o- make the knot

  • Can this be done with 5 strings? I wanted to put a heart at the end of my name on my bracelet.

  • @iStillLoveYou1203 Name bracelets are alphas... those are different than these. You'd need an alpha pattern of a heart.

  • awesome bracelets there much bbetter than mine

  • @braceletboi01 Just keep on practicing. Took me 15 years to learn everything I know.

  • @BeyondBracelets i kno all i really see is small ass bracelets i make way harder ones but it only took me 6 months soooooooooo that makes u like 20 or mid 20's

  • @braceletboi01 -tilts head- Do you really think this is all I am capable of? I'm teaching and I can't start with huge patterns for beginners. If you notice there is "BEGINNER" "INTERMEDIATE" and "ADVANCED" sections... and that's only for learning purposes.

Put your money where your mouth is and lets see those bracelets. =3

  • @BeyondBracelets for your information sweetie cake, i can only make vidoes under 14 min i even tried 13 min and it didnt work and i didnt mean to be rude sorry if i came at u wrong but i can make huge ones but it seem like u have more time than i do i can only make bracelet on weekends so obviosly u know u have a bigger advantage than u u have 30 min vidoes wtf if i could do that me nd u would have at it( again not being rude) but yah u putt too much work into a tutorial, show me nd ill do it

  • @braceletboi01 I'm not asking for a tutorial, I was asking to see the bracelets you've made.

PROTIP: Alpha's don't count. They're too easy, even with 50 strings.

  • @BeyondBracelets so this is a bracelet challenge

  • @braceletboi01 I don't know, it sure sounded like them were fighting words from the comment you left so if you'd like it to be, sure.

  • @BeyondBracelets then ill be up on those bracelets asap

  • @braceletboi01 Are we doing this any special way? You know... Patterns we made up on our own? Most strings used? I'm just curious what is going to determine skill level/difficulty in this.

  • @BeyondBracelets nope what ever u like it really dose not matter...... NOTHING JUST SOME BOMB ASS BRACELETS

  • @braceletboi01 Alrighty. It's on. =3

    When's the deadline?

  • @BeyondBracelets ok...... when ever my hand breakes sown and gives up :D

  • @braceletboi01 Well, I have carpal tunnel so my hands are already broken unfortunately. I'll do what I can... I'll probably go for one really big one maybe 50 strings or so instead of a bunch of little ones... since it seems you initially thought all I was capable of are 10 string bracelets or less.

Honestly... I just like tiny bracelet patterns because they're comfortable and cute. I have a giant cuff about 2 inches wide I made up as I went that is celtic and I sort of hate it... lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets wait im only 16 and have a bigger schedule than u way bigger nd u want 50 woooo fuck that shit..... when i meant big i didnt mean 50 i meant like 20 mayb 30 so idk bought tHAT and make a video on how u mkae urs cuz im kinda new to this

  • @braceletboi01 You're the one who said all you see are tiny bracelets... So I agreed that I'd prove your thought of me only doing 'beginner' bracelets wrong. I had to take offense when you shot me down for making lessons that are easy and pegging me as doing 'tiny' bracelets because it is all I'm capable of.

I just created a custom pattern that is actually 35 strings. I might just use that one. Check #46013 on FB.net in about three days when it is finally approved. (I almost made it bigger. =3)

  • I have watched most of your tutorials and I really appreciate your effort to educate. I had to watch this one several times before I was able to make this for my little girl. Next with your your help I am tackling an Alpha for my son. Thank you.

  • Do you HAVE to make the strings 5 feet?

  • @NeonMonster29 You don't have to but you might end up with a keychain.

I wouldn't go below 55" and the only way that length will only work if you have a really small wrist. Try less, let me know how it pans out for you.

  • omg you are awesome can you make a braclet with a panda on it??????

  • I LOVE YOU VIDEO'S!!! their so easy to follow.. You seem to be the only one who starts from the beginning of the bracelet and not start half way through the bracelet.

  • @1235oreo Yeah, I noticed a ton of videos that did that and people in the comments complained. I researched what people wanted before starting my videos and so I tried to take their advice into consideration. The biggest was "START FROM THE BEGINNING" so that I did.

  • Thanks so much really.I'm currently trying to make this for one of my friends and i coudn't find anyone to teach me as well as you did, and thanks to you I have a sucsessful braclet thanks so much!!!!

  • @THEKLUTZ99920 Awesome. I'm sure your friend will love it!

  • I can't see what you doing T.T

  • @BumKpopluv76 Use the video description.

If you don't know the knots then check the beginner playlist on my channel. "New To Friendship Bracelets? Start HERE!"

  • Oh my god!!! i like skipped a step or somethin cuz i messed up when i was startin the second heart l:P it was sad!

  • this is a very good video!!! great job!!!

  • loved it!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @XXxxcopycat5xxXX It's actually intermediate so it's not hard, it's just not easy either. I label it this way because some people will try to do this before even attempting a candy stripe and then they tend to get angry at me for calling it easy/beginner.

  • i like this video. This bracelet is hard to make though. Are the filled hearts easier?

  • @madifunny12 Some people say it is... so maybe try it and see what you think. Try using a piece of felt to keep your strands in order (my felted clipboard video might explain why better than I could in text: /watch?v=TiNsulIzDrA )

They're all "easy" to me because I've done them so long... so it's sort of hard for me to really picture it from a beginner perspective... but I remember one or two saying it was easier/nicer than the hollow hearts so try it out. Good luck.

  • <3 thanks!

  • heyy, you are awesome but could you slo down i always ave to pause it to catch up...... thank you -kelsey ♥♥♥

  • @kelseypayton17 I can't really slow down much because most people don't want an hour long tutorial... and lots complain if I get over 20 minutes.

It's pretty much supposed to be followed from the video description... so maybe try checking that out. Watch the video quick and use the written instruction to sit down and make.

  • @BeyondBracelets

ok i under stand thank you though for being nice tho. some people are real buttss. lol thanks you

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!

  • @MrBrandonandAustin YOU'RE WELCOME SO MUCH !!!

Glad you enjoyed the tutorial. =3

  • this is very cool! :) but this MAY seem kinda..stupid, but i find it kinda hard to keep the strings in certain order when you tie them. i just started making bracelets like this. i use embroidery floss. yours are very neat, its a nice talent to have.(: anyway great video!! :P

  • @pranker119 Try working on a piece of felt or fuzzy blanket. Check my felted clipboard video to see why I say this... you can just put "BeyondBracelets Felted Clipboard" in the YT search and it should pop up.

  • how old are you

  • @justice92500 I'll be 24 in October.

  • thanks for your video. I actually found this easier than the filled heart because for the heart im using a normal black string and a sparkly string that is a little more difficult. I want to shine lol

  • @KiraUKissable Yeah, the shined string is a bit more difficult to work with. I don't like how rough the brand I bought is- it was metallic. What are you using? Is it soft? =x

  • @BeyondBracelets not really. its rough just by its self but as i keep knotting it, its not that bad. I think I can handle it being on my wrist all the time. Maybe the other string magically coats it with softness lol?

  • @KiraUKissable Haha, yeah. That must be it. =P

  • @BeyondBracelets i made it more difficult by adding lettered beads and doing the chinese staircase in the middle of it lol ik its very risky but it turned out to be lovely - all thanks to the cardboard loom trick :) thanks for that tip too. I almost killed the strings... if thats possible haha.

  • @BeyondBracelets oh right i dont remember what brand it is, it was just something i picked up at Michaels.

  • Best Friend ship Bracelet maker!!

  • @tlmiles1118 Nah, definitely not the best... I just happen to be one of the few who decided to make videos teaching them.

  • @LiViChEy601127 Yeah. The strings play "leap frog" with one another every time.

If you make a forward knot (a knot that heads towards the right) then the string making the knot will hop over to the right. If you make a backward knot (a knot that heads towards the left) the string will hop over to the right. The same goes for mixed knots.

With a mixed knot your string should be hopping over to the side which is the second part of the mix. Forward/Backward means it would be backward/ the left.

  • hey, do you know if is it possible to do this with 3 colors?

like have green as the background, red as the heart, and blue as the inside of the heart?

thank you so much! The tutorial is great by the way :DDD

  • @iheartsfriend You might be able to make the heart filled if you try to use the same technique as the multicolor alphabet tutorial when you "substitute" strings... but other than that I don't think it would work out properly. I'd have to play with a pattern to really figure it out.

  • can i use the yarn?

  • @TheMixturemachine Yes, it will just be much fuzzier/thicker and possibly itchy if you don't use a good quality/soft yarn.

  • if u watch Hollistergirl1o1's Bordered chevron video its almost the same instructions

  • @SkateboarderXD1 This is the heart pattern... not a bordered chevron.

You can find similarities in most any friendship bracelet pattern and instructions will likely be similar if the pattern has any 'similar' angles in it. If you were to do mixed knots on either side and tiny chevrons through the middle it would indeed be the same, but this has a few different steps in order to make it a heart.

  • @BeyondBracelets OOOOHHH! Okay... I see the difference now. I re-watched it. Thanks

  • does each string have to be 65 in long ?

    for example ; one black - 65 , 2nd black - 65 ? & so on.. ?

  • @angelbabeh73 Yes.

  • @BeyondBracelets thaank youu ! im almost half waay done & it looks amazing ! i love your vids , keep it up (;

  • I Love All Of Your Videos(: Thanks To You I Know So Much More!

Pleaseee Make More Videos Your The Best!!

  • in the beginning it would help if u explained what a backwards knott and a forwards knott is.....but ur bracelet looks great

  • @laxin4life18 I have a specific video covering the knot types. It would be too much wasted time to start with it on every video... so I made one video that people can learn the basics on. Just look up "The Four Types of Knots" and you should be able to learn.

  • @peacegurl9876 I want to say it's already on my to-do list (lots of requests have been piling up) but if it isn't I'll write it down and get to it when I can.

  • Bless You!

  • is this a bordered chevron?? or different
