I've played with this glitch and it doesnt seem to end- no matter how high I jump, no matter how far I go out to see- it just never seems to end. I mean, I've walked out so far in the sea, the ground just became a solid blue and the sky just turned black. but it still never ended.

@gokudabomb1 I don't think so. Outside the shack, the save point probably isn't actually right there; instead, I think the inside of the shack and the outside are two different places entirely. If you somhow got inside without using the door, you'd probably be in a glitch area. Also, there's no save point in the End of the World shack. I think this glitch happens because when you go to Secret Place, the islands get messed up, and the game is already partly in that state, it's hard to explain...

You have to go over to the secret place to trigger the cutscene that makes cracks in the sand and turns the water purple.

@dendanny56 Actually, what happens is, you appear at the island and it looks completely normal; the small bridge disappears and there's the blue water (but u can't go in it) and after you go to the Secret Place, you trigger the weird island thing; water turns purple, then you see the dark abyss, Riku's island place disappears, and all that; and until you walk over to Ansem, you still have control of the characters even after the island gets messed up.
