If the scene ended there then that would have been ok. But in the movie the fight goes on for about another 5 minutes. In trying to show off Jackie Chans techniques they just show that Mr Hans has his hands full trying to fend off a bunch of little kids. In the origional movie Mr Miyagi deals with a bunch of much older bigger kids in less than 10 seconds, which is much more effective in demonstrating that to the viewer that he is a true master.
