This was a great contest, great use of props. I think it set this year up for failure though. Everyone had some kinda gimmick. I think 2013 they need to get back to basics and have mainly just style and slowly ramp it back up to the use of props.

i love griffin, he's a great dunker but he only had 1 dunk in this show that deserved a 10 (the elbow in the rim)...the first dunk was just a slight variant of a regular 360, the second he tried like 6 times before he got it down but still no where near as tough as derozans first dunk (it was basically catching a lob pass and windmilling it...seen it done by vince carter like 5 times already)...and his final dunk was garbage...so all in all good but not great

Russell Westbrook is the other person playing the NBA rt now that has dunks during games (not during a dunk contest) that actually amazes people. Howard, McGee, those guys only wow people with dunks during contests bc they are too slow and not nearly as athletic as Blake and Westbrook to pull of badass dunks in a crowded lane during the middle of a game. Stick with what you know, which isn't dunks, or NBA for that matter.
