Ok the grandmother cannot be lilo, a couple of reasons: 1. She wouldve told stitch and jumba and pleakly " oh hey long timeno see!!!!" 2. Jumba and pleakly and stitch didnt recognizethe island so lilo isnt there 3. She doesnt look like lilo at all!!!!!

The more I watch this, the more it appears to be set in the future (many years after Lilo & stitch) and it is also on a small (fictional?) tropical island near japan. There are a few references to the fact that is is in the future, stitch is named, Jumbaa refers to this as another island, and the technology seems more advanced (invisibility on space ship).
