  • Can't even get started. In a state of fear all the time. It's so easy to to make a balls-up of it. I always get to the stage where I need to do this bit. But just can't. Absolutely ZERO confidence that it'll work and certain it'll go wrong. So they get left looking all pretty. Gets on my flippin' tits. It's gotta be "Monkey see, Monkey do. Books and Magazines don't work and nor do vids. Drives me Mental.

  • I reckon he has already done it before he records it!

A tip... just do it instead of talking rubbish! People may not know what you are on about just blabbing away!

  • can you build anything else but german aircrafts?

  • dos it flip

  • great tutorial. thanks a bunch.

  • dude the way you use your airbrush is WACK!

  • That struck me too, jessekarey. When you have to move you whole arm, you don't have the control compared to a pen/pencil type grip. (Which is also why the writing of so many kids, who don't get handwriting instruction anymore, looks like bugs dipped in ink.)

Can't pick at this guy's results, tho'.

  • they don't wanna show too much, they want you to buy the DVD....what else is new?

  • How do you get those hot panel washes to not devour the underlying body coats? Do you paint enamel, weather acrylic or paint acrylic, weather enamel? I know disimilar paints won't eat other, but like paints eat each other if you're using solvent-rich weathering cuts over a base coat.

  • Brett, great stuff, but could you focus the camera more on what you are doing rather than you talking in to the camera? I'd love to see what you are doing rather than listening to you describe what I can't see. keep it up

  • Thanks Brett, great series. You've done so much for modelling mate.

  • Keep up the good work Brett, ignore TMTGAU

  • Why? TMTGAU is right.

  • well I hope i can explain it right: its more about listening than looking, I've done many tutorials about digital painting in photoshop, and from my experience, showing the actual painting just "looks impressive" and the client thinks he /she is learning, (thinking he/she is actually recieving the "wonderful talent" just by looking at it, and when they sit down and try to paint they realize they were just caught in the moment and don't know anything about painitng at all.

  • Great videos, hyperscale breaks it down step by step. Any future videos on handling photo etch and resin parts???

  • If youa re going to sow us how to do the shading then why don't we get to look at you doing it. YOu need to think about how your audience is going to get the message.
