  • It is done at 150 meter away. I doubt that a sniper is able to shoot a wire in the real world.

  • @jack1826 wire yes but not with 4x scope like that. But snipers at ww2 had a lot of practice :)

  • @TheMauserBoy : Because you think that modern snipers don't ? They could shoot a apple on your head from 2 km.

  • @oOCrossroadsOo :) I doubt that, maybe they can hit human silhuete on 2 km, but not an apple on head :) And even for silhuete they need something more sophisticated than mosin nagant with 4x scope. But on the other hand mosin nagant with 4x scope was ideal for urban sniping that was going on in Stalingrad. 4x is enough for sniping on man size target up to lets say 600 meters maybe litle bit more.

  • @TheMauserBoy : I was over-doing it just to be clear eheh... since there's no major war going on (I mean, between powerful countries), soldiers (snipers included) have/had time to improve themselves to perfection :) I read that a Canadian sniper killed a Taliban from over 2 km...

But I agree, 600 meters seems enough for urban engagements. :)

  • @oOCrossroadsOo yep i read about that shoot too:) Some skiled sniper or maybe lucky shoot :) do you have information what sniper sistem he used? I bet modern snipers are good target shooters but ww2 snipers( the ones that survived) were real skiled ones, shooting moving targets, probably good tactics. If someone did something wrong, bye bye Ivan.

  • @TheMauserBoy Nope, I don't have more infos than you do I think we saw the same thing ^^" But you're right, WW2 snipers were probably less trained but had more experience (and skills then).

  • try to write well idiot !

  • Movie : Enemy At The Gates
