I was there ! and the audience aren't allowed to shout anything bad so it doesnt change a thing really. If you shout anything bad you get kicked out. So its pointless.

I think the changes this year is better as you get a choice of either singing to backing track or without and also it gives the judges an idea of how your personality, stage presence and voice goes with the music and with the audience.

you'd be pleased to know that the audience at the X Factor auditions wasn't allowed to BOO any of the acts. we only cheered the ones we loved and if we didn't like them too much we didn't cheer as much. :)

I attened the glasgow auditions yesterday. not as many bad ones I thought there be. the exact same set-up. the warm-up guy was very funny. and dermot and holly were very nice

if you're going to the one that starts at 1 p.m., i'd say make sure you get there before 10:30 a.m. if you wanna be sure you get in. 11 at the latest.

i was in priority and didnt get checked for ID or even tickets

was amazing, i arrived at about 8:30 for the 1pm show, and got front seats so i would advise u not to leave it to late

but apparently some people who looked well younger than 16 were asked for ID and were then turned away.

there was a guy called Jamie (i think), he was about 33 and had massive hair lol. he was really really good. he sang 'Sex On Fire' and everyone got up and cheered for him :) i think he's going to go very far.

Also, a young 17 year old girl who had come to the auditions against her parents' will. she was amazing too.

i went on tuesday, the first sitting, and this deluded girl came on singing moment in time, then as she got no's from all the judges, she proceeded to call us, the audience, a bunch of hypocrits LOL! more good ones than bad though! A man from chicago was so good!

i got there for 11.40 and was the last 70 to be let in. Considering the bad press that they have got over their bad organising you should turn up way before this as everyone will be turning up earlier then before. We were at the end of the 3rd row of queue if you are past that then you probs wont get in. Good luck. Bring food and something to read as you will not be able to get anything to eat during the waiting and during the show.
