@sylictic not rubbish, brilliant work. of course it wasn't completely worked out, thats why they sticked with the original theme for the show at the time. They scrapped this theme and didnt develop it any further

I love Doctor Who - from Hartnell to Smith. It is no wonder they rejected this theme music. Just about as bad as McCoy's and Smith's!

To be honest I can see why they didn't use it, it sounds like it's synthesised just for the sake of being synthesised, the notes are a bit simple.
