I have two HTC G1s/Dreams and they were both great (at the beginning). Both of them are non-functional now. HTC can't figure out what's wrong and won't do anything.

They go into endless and overlapping android.process errors.

@Sweetp424. Yes you can use a MP3 song for a contact ringtone. Go to the andriod market and download the app "Ringdriod" and then make all the ringtones you want. and yes, it does get notifications...from what i can remember it does. Good luck.

FOR A MONTH, the phone was slow, 3g and edge sucked balls, and sometimes the touch screen didnt work

Also, SD seems to have a very high failure rate. I've had tons of these things, they fail like crazy, including SanDisk cards. They really don't last too long. About the only benefit they have is there tiny and easy to transfer files to and from.
