Gotta feel bad for the tetras, I heard they inject those fish with something. Though it looks cool, its cruel to the fish getting a shot of coloring. Otherwise, cool tank. I never had luck with frogs but they are still pretty funny looking.
If you don't know what you're talking about, please don't start talking about it, even if you think people may value your opinion on whether hypodermic needles count as cruelty. The types of tetras you're referring to have nothing to do with cardinals or neons. "Tetra" is a very broad description of an entire family of fish species. There are over 164 genera of Characidae.
my white skirt tetras are all natural. I refuse to buy dyed fish! Also have: 2 rummy nose, glo lites, 2 glass catfish,3 kuhli loaches,4 danios(zebra) 2 fan tailed goldfish(same tank) 1 albino cory,1 peppered cory,1 cuckoo cory, a chinese algea eater and 1 marbled anfelfish. These are in a 60 gallon tank and growing like weeds!!:)
thats nice but he is right neither neons or cardinals are color injected. Its good to hear that you dont buy those fish though, i feel the same way. By the way its not the best to put goldfish in a tropical tank.
Nope. The frog is an African Dwarf, and some of the fish are bigger than he is. He eats live blackworms on occasion, but mostly food pellets made for frogs. The fish have nothing to worry about. Other species of frogs, though, could pose a problem.
where can i get white skirt tetras that don't have dye in them? every store i've been to only has the dyed ones.
