Wow use one of these to generate electricity off all that wasted heat from the gas engine in a hybrid

Somebody has tried using some sort of steam power to get extra torque from gas-only engines, but for a hybrid it would be way better to just use a huge Stirling as the main engine, and electric generator / transmission / motors.

It can run on any kind of heat, even weird stuff like coal if you can get the heat to the engine.
