Love it!!! It gives FXIII-2 a different style from XIII (which I was in LOVE with). I think it's kinda fitting...Lightning's no longer the main character (she had a very classic feel) and now Serah's in the spotlight. It seems fitting for the music style to change.

When I showed this to my brother, he thought it sounded dumb, but when he played the demo that played this song, he said it was so much better than just the audio. I believe the music is made to fit the mood of not only the fast sequence of battles but also the upbeat characters of Noel and Serah. Personally, I think a lot of people should be more open to change, because from experience, I can tell it makes a lot of difference.

@LightningLeonhart I agree totally. I actually commented the same, that I think this fits Serah and Noel more than the classic FF style does. Sure, there are upbeat piano and violin themes, but going into another genre altogether is totally refreshing. And yes, hearing this theme IN GAME does wonders. It's awesome.

Wonderful square Enix is branching out from tradition and sampling different themes to make something entirely new and better. Face it the older gen FF fans are stuck living in the glory days and can't except a change in times and styles

@937olter: Not really. Look up FL Studio. You can make a manual one by just listening to this song and compare/contrast. The result may not be 100% perfect, but it will be close enough.

@Puremage91694 I wish it was played more often in the game. It's only played in 2 battles in the main storyline, both of them fairly early in the game before things get too difficult... they use that hardcore rock and roll theme more often than this.
