Even though the conga player plays well, I don't feel that the congas contribute to the music's final result. I think that the the recording would have been more effective without the congas. The band sounds terrific as do the solos and Paul's drumming was excellent. The "hand" percussion was not needed to enhance the overall performance of the music.
