Yo Startug, I'd really like to see this ep in HQ. And to all of those saying Theodore is a rip-off of TUGS, well... that's like saying TUGS is a rip-off of Thomas. :p
I love it when Theodore was tugging a bummper off the dock and thought it was a heavy object and Emily smiles at him. It's just knee slapping hilarious. XD
I remember watching this show when I was very young, back in the 90s! This definately brings back memories! Great work to the person who uploaded this video!
I hope it wasn't because Theodore is a rip-off of Tugs. I certainly don't think it is, in spite of Robert D. Cardona being co-creator. There are lots of different anthropomorphic tugboat stories; like the Little Toot series by Hardie Gramatky.

It was funny when Clemetine wet paranoid about a container. Contaner overboard!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMFDSHBAO that means I laughed my fucking damned shit heel bitch ass off.
I just found out. Also what is the episode "Hank's Cozy Cove" about? It is an episode I heard about in the Theodore's Exceptional Friends handbook. (Yes, I got it today with the Tape! Exciting huh?!)
The episode is about the time where the Great Ocean Dock needed to be dregded because the Tugs were scraping the bottom. The cove, Mud Cove, is where they stay and the other tugs are scared because of fog, waves, sounds, etc. Hank brings a bumper along to remind him of the dock so he think's its cozy.
oy, the tv dot com page is a mess. This ISN'T the only time Clayton speaks. He's spoken in Hank, Tug in Charge and that episode with Sea Bright. And Clemantine's first appearance was actually in this episode where Theodore was always late because he had to get oil.
I remember that episode well. Clemantine was pissed.
I like the opening without the lyrics...it's so cool with just the instrumental version...oh yes, and I was real shocked, and I had no clue that the HM (Harbour Master), the guy w/the bagpipes passed away last year :( RIP for him...

Look the US didn't get alot of the episodes (which I want the kick thier butts for) and Canadia got the rest.
Tencents09 3 years ago
I know, PBS didn`t get enough time to show them, but now I think Qubo may have them all.

Who was the ship that Hank and George were bringing in at the beggining, whilst passing Theodore and Emily with Clementine?
7Lightening 3 years ago
I think that was Igloo. His name was mentioned in only one episode. Hard to tell because he doesn't have a nameplate like everyone else.
Headbanger142 3 years ago
Is it true that this show only had 120 episodes? Please reply asap.
SkarloeyRailwayLover 3 years ago
I do not know.
startug 3 years ago
Yes, but only 52 episodes aired on PBS...the rest, I'm assumin' aired on some other network, like CBC...aired from 1993-2001...
csifan18 3 years ago
Actually, 130.

You know what, I;ve always found this to be a bit better than Salty's Lighthouse. But anyway, good to see my favorite tug back.

If you liked Salty's Lighthouse, youshould watch TUGS, which is where Salty's Lighthouse got it's tugboat footage from.
