@greenghost2008 you have to admit. most black do act like insane people. That could be said about any race Casey Athony,Jeffery Dharmer,Charles Manson,Ted Bundy,Jonh Wayne Gacy.Etc Etc
@greenghost2008 I went to an entirely white school district from 1st-8th grade and then I transferred to a over 90% African-American high school in a neighboring city and I can tell you quite honestly that I was treated nicer and far more welcome at that high school than I had since the 4th grade in that white school district. I'm white by the way.. a good ol' German, Irish, and English mutt.
i look at race this way...everyone with black hair is black...everyone else is white. so asians, latins, arabs, chinese, negro, hawaiians, etc, are black. o this dude is gay...
Mormons are not racist, in fact, we absolutely love colored people and feel everyone should own one or two! You've got to admit, coloreds potty train faster than dogs, most of them anyway, lol!
Blacks are cursed and why everything they touch turns to dung.
There isn't a single black-controlled nation on this planet that is able to function, even at basic levels, without white intervention, laws and commerce.
I don't have to prove the "coloreds" are this or that or anything, just open your eyes.
@RSivulka Aren't you the guy in the video? Way to refer to yourself in the third person, faggot. Your womanly voice is pathetic. The baby blue shirt is a dead giveaway to your closeted homosexuality.
Besides, being an anti-mormon christian is a paradox. You believe in a talking donkey, a talking burning bush, a man surviving in the belly of a whale, etc. yet some golden tablets and the curse of cain are too much for you?
@Bossk333: Ya, I'm the guy in the video. My wife thinks you're an idiot. And ya, I believe in a First Cause to the universe, so it's no surprise that I think that God can interrupt the natural order whenever He wants to. You need to repent and have Jesus change your life before you go to hell.
@RSivulka Your wife won't think I'm so dumb when you leave her ass for another man.
Hell is like the boogie man, it doesn't exist. It is just a way to scare straight the immoral sinners like yourself.
So you believe every verse in the Bible, no matter what? Even Deuteronomy 22:28-29, the verse that condones raping women? If so, I feel sorry for your wife. I still think it is funny that you pretended to be a casual commenter when you attempted to defend your blatant homosexuality.
@Bossk333: You hope hell doesn't exist, but since Jesus rose from the dead & fulfilled all sorts of prophecies written hundreds of years before He came on the scene, He's more worthy to listen to about fearing hell than you are (Lk. 13:3). Deut. passage never mentions rape, you assume it. It speaks of a punishment for pre-marital sex. This is far from condoning rape. Given this, it doesn't surprise me that you find authors talking in 3rd person strange or that you interpret me as defending homo.
@RSivulka That's not what they said when they were both sharing my cock last night. That was too easy. I was yanking your chain a little with the gay stuff, all though you do look kinda light in the loafers. I don't think your gay, but it doesn't matter.
What I have done is expose you as being just as big of a crazy religious nut as the Mormons. I am sure that, like the Mormons, you have some group of people somewhere that believes exactly as you do.
@Bossk333 Also, I'm sure, like the Mormons, you all have convinced each other that you are right and everyone else is wrong. I am just letting you know that, too the rest of the world, you are just as much of a crazy religious zealot as any Mormon or Jahovas Witness that is gonna come knocking at our door. Thanks for pointing out the source of this quote though. It is lame that Warren Jeffs has been taking the fall for it. Brigham Young: 1860s.
@Bossk333: You only sin and lust after her since she's so hot! Look, I admit I'm out of keeping w/ modern culture, but so what? I think most of the world is going to hell anyway. Culture or self isn't my Lord; Jesus is. What He says goes. Culture and yourself make lousy gods... all fading quickly. Jesus is alive forevermore. My faith isn't divorced from reason & I use it to make sense of the world. This is quite different from those who simply rest in their burning in their bosoms.
@Bossk333: If I'm a crazy religious nut job for believing the Bible, then I'm in good company with most of the history of western culture. Better that than your typical village atheist.
@RSivulka Obviously you don't get it. It's like talking to a brick wall. Or a Mormon.
If you had the ability to stop and listen to yourself, you would realize that you are not as different from the Mormons as you think. That is probably because you obviously used to be a Mormon.
I never said I was an atheist, by the way. If you believe in the Bible then you believe, according to Deuteronomy 22:28-29:
"If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her."
So, where do your daughters live? I would like to fulfill this particular religious belief of yours, my future father in law. Don't spent all those 50 silver pieces in one place.
I'm kidding of coarse, but you are a complete joke.
@Bossk333 Plus, trying to use the population of Christianity to prove your point? Unless you are Roman Catholic, which you aren't, whatever church you belong to is smaller than the LDS church, so by your logic, Mormonism would be more correct than your denomination because it boasts more members. You might as well just give up dude. Everything you say just backfires. This is way too easy.
@Bossk333: The only point I'm proving by that is that historic Christianity (Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox) is the Church, and they all hold to the Bible. So you're accusing historic Christianity, the basis for western culture, as being a religious nut job. That's myopic.
@Bossk333: In logic this is a fallacy known as an ad hominem. Not only here, but through most of our dialogue you resort to attacking the man rather than his arguments. As a result, you don't make a very good spokesman for being a skeptic of the Bible. But so what? It's never here nor there.
@Bossk333: With the Bible as a foundation for Historic Christianity, they have the right to defend the faith against counterfeits like Mormons, who claim things the Bible never taught and as St. Paul said, any other gospel that comes along is to be damned. Further, we also know other problems with Mormonism that we don't find with Historic Christianity. For example, Smith was a serial adulterer and sexual predator, he mistranslated the Bible, & he lied about his translation of Book of Abraham.
@Bossk333: You may or may not be interested in this: answering-islam[dot]org/Shamoun/ot_and_rape[dot]htm. A good case can be made that you're attacking a straw-man by using a mistranslation of the Deut. 22 passage.
@Bossk333: How do we typically judge a man from a woman? By length of hair. That's natural as the passage says. Women's is longer than men's. Paul didn't have in mind some abstract length of hair, but the typical male/female differentiation. Cultures always different in length even in Paul's day. "Longness" is a relative term. So the point is stressing simply that nature teaches us it's disgraceful for men to have long hair in being confused for a chick.
@Bossk333: Atheists or agnostic. Regardless, those who believe the Bible form the basis for western culture. Now back to Deut., the problem is that you misapply that passage for today. We aren't in the Old Testament today & God could regulate the Israelites how He wished. The law was a schoolmaster to force us to Christ, the fulfillment of the law as St. Paul said in Gal. 3:24. The stringency of the law was to drive them to the perfect Sacrifice and plead for mercy. Welcome to New Testament.
Imagine witnessing an argument between Sunni and Shiite Muslims. To them the 2 religions are worlds apart, just as you perceive yourself to be worlds apart from the Mormons. To us, we would wonder why they are fighting because we don't see them as being all that different. we feel that they both believe the same ridiculous things as each other. They are both Muslims.
You and the Mormons are the same way as the Muslims. That's fine, that's how religion works, but it is still funny.
@Bossk333: This is as myopic as saying all whites, or fill in your favorite race, look the same. The Sunni and Shi'a, as well as the Jew and Christian still have a monotheistic God, the Creator of all things outside Himself. LDS use the term "God," but they mean a man who had to follow a God before Him and so on ad infinitum. So the LDS is a polytheist, who follows a devalued, weak God. That's obviously not the God of the Bible. See the Home page chart of differences on my MormonInfo[dot]org.
In those days as well as later when the sons of the GODS (plural) had intercourse with the daughters of mortals and children were born to them, the Nephilim were on the earth; they were the heroes of old, people of renown. So much for Christians, Jews and Muslims being Monotheistic.
When a man strikes his slave or slave girl with a stick and the slave dies on the spot, he must be punished. But he is not to be punished if the slave survives for one day or two, because the slave is his property.
@Bossk333 and you discriminate against the handicapped.
Leviticus 21: 18-20
No man with a defect is to come, whether a blind man, a lame man, a man stunted or overgrown, or with misshapen brows, or film over his eyes, or discharge from it, a man who has a scab, or eruption, or has had a testicle ruptured.
When two men are fighting and the wife of one of them intervenes to drag her husband clear of his opponent, if she puts out her hand and catches hold of the man by his privates, you must cut off her hand and show her no mercy.
@Bossk333: The OT was severe. Only God knows the rationale for this. But thank God that mercy comes through Jesus! I'm thankful we're not living in the OT. You're supposed to not like how severe and strict the Law was. This was to get you to drop to your knees, beat on your chest, & scream, "Lord Jesus, have mercy on me! I need your perfection in order to stand before God!"
Then because of the dire straights to which you will be reduced when your enemy besieges you, you will eat your own children, the flesh of your sons and daughters whom the Lord has given you.
@Bossk333: You assume that there was no fault here of the man. Early pagans used castration as a means of devotion. God didn't want pagans in His assembly: streetdirectory[dot]com/travel_guide/153823/religion/the_eunuch_in_bible_and_quran[dot]html. The passage also prohibits Moabites & Ammonites, but they were allowed when seeking Jehovah (1 Chron. 11:39, 46). So there were probably exceptions. The NT has a Eunuch getting saved in Acts 8. Again, notice the difference between the OT & the NT.
@Bossk333: Again, this is the OT regulations... for the Levitical priests offering bread before God. He even required the animals for sacrifices to be without blemish. The point was to *show* all Israel how Holy God was. It wasn't to say that these with these imperfections are cursed or inferior human beings. This is quite different from LDS scripture that calls dark skin a curse. So no I don't discriminate against the handicap today in the New Covenant. We don't have temple sacrifices today.
@Bossk333: Why is this racist? Because slavery's mentioned? One may be a slave of one's own race in the OT. Now if you're claiming that slavery is immoral, then that's a different story. I agree slavery is immoral & definitely not God's ideal. But God can always work within a corrupt system to make it operate as fair as it can be. It's like polygamy in the OT. Never sanctioned by God & goes away from the 1-flesh unit set up from the beginning, but God can still regulate it.
@Bossk333: Elohim is the Hebrew term for God or Gods depending on the context and verb usage. What translation are you using for "Gods" here? KJV, NIV, and NAS use "God." You don't understand by what Christians, Jews, and Muslims mean by monotheistic. They hold that there's only 1 Creator of literally everything outside Himself, or 1 true God by nature. Of course there are other gods, but none of them are God by nature. They are all dependent on the truly Independent.
@RSivulka Ok, now do those other verses I posted. It's fun to see what you come up with. It would appear that you only follow the bible verses that you agree with and you talk around the other ones. Hey, that kinda sounds like what Mormons do. Not to mention every other denomination on earth. If the bible was as cut and dry as you make it sound, there would be no need for more than 1 denomination. The different churches exist because they have different interpretations of the same Bible.
@Bossk333: I agree that churches form over different interpretations, but as the old saying goes, "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, but in all things charity." This is why the various denominations can get along & still treat each other as Christian. We all can't do that w/ cults (i.e., counterfeits like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.), since we don't share the essentials in common w/ them. I agree that there are some passages that are "hard to be understood" (2 Pet. 3:16).
black folks these white folks have been telling you who to worship since you came off them ships. The hell with christianiy, islam, and all these other non african religions. They claim to know the mysteries of God. The mormons doctrines are the worst .
MORMONS ARE SATANIC.........MORMONS TEACH THAT GOD IS AN EXALTED MAN.............THAT IS PURE SATANISM..........MORMONS WORSHIP LUCIFER THRU FREEMASON RITUALS............HOW ABOUT THOSE MASONIC SYMBOLS ON MORMON MAGICAL UNDERWEAR............THAT IS DAILY WORSHIP OF LUCIFER.......THESE STATEMENTS R TRUE............
dude i was never disagreeing with you. but one thing i do hate is organized religion ALL of it is stupid and just puts stresses on people that don't need to be there. We are all in wonder how we got here who knows if there is a god or not you can hope but until you die no one knows. we are all just speculating at this point
@thecommonbehavior: You were never disagreeing w/ me? Why did you say "so you need to get your facts right before you go spouting off about it. I don't agree with alot of mormonism but this is not the mormonism of utah. the prophet is Thomas S. Monson so you better get your facts right before you sound like an idiot."? Also, you sound rather certain that God is just unknown, but how do you know that? I know that God exists & Jesus rose from the dead & I've got good reasons for it.
@thecommonbehavior I used to feel the same way but then I discovered the LDS church which we believe is the one true church. It doesn't put any "stresses" on people. It helps you live the gospel and understand it.
This man is not a bible reader. He also seems to have an obvious axe to grind and is difficult to watch. It is hardly honest to call a man a racist for pointing out the obvious differences in culture 200 years ago. its in the past. None of that is even true anymore, but at one time, it was. Do you not recall SLAVERY and how that degraded mankind? Do you deny that it degraded mankind?
@mormonanswerman: It's not the past if you've got a false prophet at the foundation of your church. The root of your church is corrupt. Young said that his words were scripture (Journal of Discourses 13:95). So either he's telling the truth & is a true prophet or the modern LDS Church is. A true prophet gives the voice of God, not of culture. If Young's a true prophet of God, then the modern LDS Church is in apostasy.
I think there is one thing we can ALL agree with, mormon or non mormon, mormon prophets are ugly. Now that we have some common ground we can start communicating like humans should!
they are not mormon dude. so you need to get your facts right before you go spouting off about it. I don't agree with alot of mormonism but this is not the mormonism of utah. the prophet is Thomas S. Monson so you better get your facts right before you sound like an idiot.
@thecommonbehavior: If the modern Salt Lake City branch of Mormonism disagrees with it's founding prophet, then that branch is in apostasy. If the modern branch is of God, then Young was in apostasy. That's the point. Obviously the SLC branch disagrees with Young.
@MormonInfoDotOrg That's the point. Obviously the SLC branch disagrees with Young.
Prophets are prophets for their times.Guidance comes from god for different times and situations.Tho the gospel never changes.Commands, instructions regarding diff situations will fit the times.
The OT testament prophets etc were commanded to slay men women And children anceiently.Do we disregard scripture from those prophets and from those times/periods?Nope.
Jonah got things wrong.Peter Denied the Saviour.Do we disregard Peters writings. Also! How can you account for Paul saying that the Kingdom of god is "Nigh at Hand" and "Cometh Quickly." He said that over 2000 yrs ago. Many more similar quotes given.Christ Himself also said He ..."would come quickly"... He ALSO said that 2000 plus yrs ago. Were still waiting.Seems Paul and even Christ got it wrong.
Warren Jeffs is not a Mormon. His group split off from the LDS church a long time ago, and hardly anybody in his group was ever a member of the legitimate LDS church.
@hermounts: LDS isn't the only way of being a Mormon. FLDS say the LDS have gone apostate & are thus illegitimate. There are well over 100 denominations of Mormon, each claiming to be the Only True Church. If FLDS aren't Mormon, then I guess you'd claim that fundamentalists Muslims aren't really Muslims either?
Smith and Hyrum died for a racist book. See Part 2 where I read from a few racist BM passages.
With Smiths sex cult of at least 34 wives (including taking 11 women who were currently married), its easy to see how similar he was to David Koresh, who would rather go out in a blaze of glory than to give up his kingdom.
I agree that Young got these views from his culture. But the problem is what I already stated in the video, viz., Young claimed that every sermon is to be regarded as the words of God. Protestants generally don't claim this. If they do & then preach racism, then the prophets of the Bible already judge them as being false prophets. Stay tune for Part 2 where I share with a black couple concerning the racial statements in the Book of Mormon (LDS scripture).
Not to get into he said, she said debate... but Protestant Christians taught from the pulpit that Cain was cursed with black skin, that the "negro" race was souless and unintelligent, and it was considered a capitol offense in many states for blacks and whites to marry. So, should we blame Brigham Young or the American religious institutions in general for "Biblical" racism? Were all the pastors of early America false teachers by Jesus Christ's standards?
There's a difference between so-called prophets & adherents who simply voice their opinions. Those who claim racism as being from God were all wrong, but they were wrong on the basis of what the biblical prophets actually taught. Protestants don't have a Moses other than Jesus today; Mormons do claim successive prophets who will never lead their church astray. The foundation of Mormonism is problematic. Showing Protestants are racist only shows they're problematic, not Protestantism itself.
So after the 70's when the LDS Church allowed blacks to hold the priesthood, they should have stopped recruiting ANYONE, since all of the other decedents of Adam seem to have received all the blessings and the keys there of... it's all completed, so why recruit anyone else?

When a man strikes his slave or slave girl with a stick and the slave dies on the spot, he must be punished. But he is not to be punished if the slave survives for one day or two, because the slave is his property.
Racist.
Bossk333 11 months ago
@Bossk333 and you discriminate against the handicapped.
Leviticus 21: 18-20
No man with a defect is to come, whether a blind man, a lame man, a man stunted or overgrown, or with misshapen brows, or film over his eyes, or discharge from it, a man who has a scab, or eruption, or has had a testicle ruptured.

@Bossk333 Now this is just cruel
Deuteronomy 23: 1
No man whose testicles have been crushed or whose organ has been cut off may become a member of the assembly of God.

@Bossk333 What the hell is this?
Deut. 25: 11-12
When two men are fighting and the wife of one of them intervenes to drag her husband clear of his opponent, if she puts out her hand and catches hold of the man by his privates, you must cut off her hand and show her no mercy.
Bossk333 11 months ago
@Bossk333: The OT was severe. Only God knows the rationale for this. But thank God that mercy comes through Jesus! I'm thankful we're not living in the OT. You're supposed to not like how severe and strict the Law was. This was to get you to drop to your knees, beat on your chest, & scream, "Lord Jesus, have mercy on me! I need your perfection in order to stand before God!"

Deuteronomy 28:53
Then because of the dire straights to which you will be reduced when your enemy besieges you, you will eat your own children, the flesh of your sons and daughters whom the Lord has given you.

@Bossk333: Description doesn't entail prescription. There's no prescription here.
RSivulka 11 months ago
@Bossk333: You assume that there was no fault here of the man. Early pagans used castration as a means of devotion. God didn't want pagans in His assembly: streetdirectory[dot]com/travel_guide/153823/religion/the_eunuch_in_bible_and_quran[dot]html. The passage also prohibits Moabites & Ammonites, but they were allowed when seeking Jehovah (1 Chron. 11:39, 46). So there were probably exceptions. The NT has a Eunuch getting saved in Acts 8. Again, notice the difference between the OT & the NT.
RSivulka 11 months ago
@Bossk333: Again, this is the OT regulations... for the Levitical priests offering bread before God. He even required the animals for sacrifices to be without blemish. The point was to *show* all Israel how Holy God was. It wasn't to say that these with these imperfections are cursed or inferior human beings. This is quite different from LDS scripture that calls dark skin a curse. So no I don't discriminate against the handicap today in the New Covenant. We don't have temple sacrifices today.
RSivulka 11 months ago
@Bossk333: Why is this racist? Because slavery's mentioned? One may be a slave of one's own race in the OT. Now if you're claiming that slavery is immoral, then that's a different story. I agree slavery is immoral & definitely not God's ideal. But God can always work within a corrupt system to make it operate as fair as it can be. It's like polygamy in the OT. Never sanctioned by God & goes away from the 1-flesh unit set up from the beginning, but God can still regulate it.
RSivulka 11 months ago
@Bossk333: Elohim is the Hebrew term for God or Gods depending on the context and verb usage. What translation are you using for "Gods" here? KJV, NIV, and NAS use "God." You don't understand by what Christians, Jews, and Muslims mean by monotheistic. They hold that there's only 1 Creator of literally everything outside Himself, or 1 true God by nature. Of course there are other gods, but none of them are God by nature. They are all dependent on the truly Independent.
RSivulka 11 months ago
@RSivulka Ok, now do those other verses I posted. It's fun to see what you come up with. It would appear that you only follow the bible verses that you agree with and you talk around the other ones. Hey, that kinda sounds like what Mormons do. Not to mention every other denomination on earth. If the bible was as cut and dry as you make it sound, there would be no need for more than 1 denomination. The different churches exist because they have different interpretations of the same Bible.
Bossk333 11 months ago
@Bossk333: I agree that churches form over different interpretations, but as the old saying goes, "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, but in all things charity." This is why the various denominations can get along & still treat each other as Christian. We all can't do that w/ cults (i.e., counterfeits like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.), since we don't share the essentials in common w/ them. I agree that there are some passages that are "hard to be understood" (2 Pet. 3:16).

dude i was never disagreeing with you. but one thing i do hate is organized religion ALL of it is stupid and just puts stresses on people that don't need to be there.

Do you deny that it degraded mankind?
mormonanswerman 1 year ago
@mormonanswerman: It's not the past if you've got a false prophet at the foundation of your church. The root of your church is corrupt. Young said that his words were scripture (Journal of Discourses 13:95). So either he's telling the truth & is a true prophet or the modern LDS Church is. A true prophet gives the voice of God, not of culture. If Young's a true prophet of God, then the modern LDS Church is in apostasy.

No it is not.
Brigham spoke regarding those times and if ya listen to Sivulkas quotes of Brigham...UNTIL...then the curse would be lifted. Im also reminded of
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Jonah got things wrong.Peter Denied the Saviour.Do we disregard Peters writings. Also! How can you account for Paul saying that the Kingdom of god is "Nigh at Hand" and "Cometh Quickly." He said that over 2000 yrs ago. Many more similar quotes given.Christ Himself also said He ..."would come quickly"... He ALSO said that 2000 plus yrs ago. Were still waiting.Seems Paul and even Christ got it wrong.
They didnt.Anymore than anything Brigham said.

Warren Jeffs is not a Mormon. His group split off from the LDS church a long time ago, and hardly anybody in his group was ever a member of the legitimate LDS church.
hermounts 1 year ago

MormonInfoDotOrg 1 year ago
I agree that Young got these views from his culture. But the problem is what I already stated in the video, viz., Young claimed that every sermon is to be regarded as the words of God. Protestants generally don't claim this. If they do & then preach racism, then the prophets of the Bible already judge them as being false prophets. Stay tune for Part 2 where I share with a black couple concerning the racial statements in the Book of Mormon (LDS scripture).
MormonInfoDotOrg 1 year ago
Not to get into he said, she said debate... but Protestant Christians taught from the pulpit that Cain was cursed with black skin, that the "negro" race was souless and unintelligent, and it was considered a capitol offense in many states for blacks and whites to marry. So, should we blame Brigham Young or the American religious institutions in general for "Biblical" racism? Were all the pastors of early America false teachers by Jesus Christ's standards?
Christisms 1 year ago
There's a difference between so-called prophets & adherents who simply voice their opinions. Those who claim racism as being from God were all wrong, but they were wrong on the basis of what the biblical prophets actually taught. Protestants don't have a Moses other than Jesus today; Mormons do claim successive prophets who will never lead their church astray. The foundation of Mormonism is problematic. Showing Protestants are racist only shows they're problematic, not Protestantism itself.

its alright to call Brigham Young a "MORmON Profit", just as long as everyone knows the correct version of the term that is being used.

So after the 70's when the LDS Church allowed blacks to hold the priesthood, they should have stopped recruiting ANYONE, since all of the other decedents of Adam seem to have received all the blessings and the keys there of... it's all completed, so why recruit anyone else?
