Roseanne was right to cover this, just wish I'd gotten to it first. ;) LOVE this. Noted the similarity to a Carl Perkins beat, checked it out; it's a Lennon original credited Lennon/McCartney. But no wonder it wound up being a Country hit years later. It has that roots sound. DAMN this is fun to play!

@pamcartney I think one of the reasons behind their appeal was that in their songs they were all regular joes who went through the same tribulations their fans did. Even when Ringo sang "I'm The Greatest" (written by John) on his eponymous solo LP, he was still saying "Hey, but don't take me seriously!"
