  • I share the surprise. Beautiful

  • I wish I could have experienced this in person. Wow.

  • Excelente !!!!

    mil gracias Francesco !!!

  • Excelente !!!!

  • O-M-G! This was amazing! I would could barely hear the femenine voice though, but it was excellent.

  • An ethereal performance. I'm without words...

  • Im actually surprised at how small the production is. And how much sound comes from out from the orchestra of a few people. That's what brilliant composition is!

  • I'd give my left nut to go see this. I'm a pretty stern atheist. But even I can recognize brilliant music when I hear it. Even though it has relations to theism. But it goes the same for Jesus christ superstar! I love that performance. I listen to it (excuse the pun) religiously.

  • !!bravo!!!

  • so amazing.....the song may finish...but its wonders keep unfolding....and wishes ..and dreams.....and i'm with the dreams of the rainforest tribes..and the eradicated native americans

  • Fantastic...

Truly in the spirit of Peter Gabriel.

Your performance is spell-binding... I love it.

  • quando la musica fa vibrare cuore, mente e spirito all'unisono ci consente di far esperienza dell'Assoluto a cui per tutta la vita aneliamo. Grazie!

  • Grazie mille... troppo gentile...

  • Thanks very much for your appreciations... :)

  • Oh, what a beautiful thing.

  • eine echt tolle Leistung. Ich bin absolut begeistert. es kommt dem Original sehr nahe.

  • Absolutely awesome!!

  • ma sono bravissimi

  • This is a Peter Gabriel song right? I am looking for the Peter Gabriel and Ravi Shankar version [ featuring Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan ]. . .can anyone help me?!?

  • It's on the album "Passion", and they are also featured on "Passion Sources", though not singing together.

As for videos: as best I know, there's only a small segment -- featured in a Peter Gabriel interview about "Passion".

Please note: he's not Ravi Shankar -- he's Lakshminarayanan Shankar. (Ravi is a famous sitar player; L. Shankar is a famous violinist, who also sings.

You can hear more of L. Shankar's work in videos by Shakti, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Peter Gabriel. Hope that helps!

  • Its one of the greatest performance in the art of music! A rare unheard voice from in the inner core of my heart!
