  • I have this tv:']

  • Bought this TV on 25/10/2010 and the panel failed on 12/12/2010....Samsung refused to exchange and now my TV is sitting in their recommended service centre waiting for a new panel which has to be ordered in from guess where....Belgium!!!

So if I were you guys I would stay well away from this tv....A new panel after 6 weeks of use its absolute crap.....They have 28 days to get it fixed and returned before I can request a like for like exchange...so a would look for a different tv if I were you!

  • What did you think of the tv after all the tests also the SD & HD quality compared to their c6000. Want to upgrade from my 3 yr old Samy.

  • @bugattisteve I'm afraid for that kind of detail you will have to log in to our website, where you can compare all of the top TVs side-by-side

  • This review sucks, no explanation of settings, what equipment used, how test are compared and these guys make quick judgment based on what?

  • @KijinnoKamen Obviously we couldn't go through all the test criteria in the video. That would be a very boring film. Which? however has the most rigorous TV tests in the business with more market coverage than any other publisher in the UK and a truly scientific testing process that allows us to categorically make claims about which set is better than all the rest. Visit our website at the link in the description for the full details of exactly what goes in to our testing.

  • i have to choose between this tv an a lx900 from sony ! Which is the best??

  • @96davidandrei I'm afraid for that kind of comparative review you will have to log on to our website. Link is in the description above.

  • @96davidandrei get the Samsung PN58C8000 it is a plasma the colors are better, the 3d is better

  • @gfunkgfunk

    YEARGH!!!

  • Which 3D plasma is better? This or the Panasonic VT25 series? Which is better for crosstalk, 2D, and 3D content? I would REALLY appreciate a reply because I'm planning on getting the VT25 soon, but I'm not sure whether this is better because their are very few reviews on it. Thank You.

  • @EpiclsME I'm afraid for those kind of comparison results you will need to log on to our website from the link in the description

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhh 3D

  • 2:13

  • Terrific presentation! Great job, Mike and Ben!

  • nice tv...but that stand has to go.....the stand is almost preventing me from getting it.

  • Awesone review. where does this plasma stand against Panny VT20?

  • @akasmarty2003 You'll have to wait for our imminent 3D group test to find out the answer to that.

  • @WhichWebsite what about 2d performance. which one is better? Thanks.

  • @akasmarty2003 The group test will test all the 3D TVs to our normal HD TV test standard and then adds 3D elements so it will tell us which is the best for all forms of content, but not all the TVs are in our lab just yet as we have to wait until they go on sale so we can buy them rather than be given a manufacturer unit so we can maintain independence

  • @WhichWebsite pointless review

  • so what do you mean by the tv has hd tuner. does that mean u get free hd channels im confused please exlpain.

  • @CaptainKronic42O it means the TV can decode free-to-view over the air DVB signals which in the UK means the Freeview HD service.

  • The juddering can be corrected by changing the advanced picture settings to smooth.. the default setting is standard.. change it to smooth.

  • @UberSynth We tried it on smooth too. The juddering was still evident on 3D material

  • not sure what all the hypes about with 3d.i remember seeing a few films in the 80s and wasnt that impressed.recently seen avatar 3d and my head was banging after 30 mins, lol.i mean do we really wanna see day to day broadcasts in 3d?

  • Good review, very thorough. I also liked the depth and wanted to know if you've managed to find out how long the batteries last on the Glasses?

  • @3dtvreviewsblog The battries last approx 70 hours.. when you close the gasses.. the automaticly switch off.. theres a button to switch them on as you re-open them. also with the 3D tv.. incidently.. the tv's DON'T come with glasses! you have to buy them seperately! :(

  • Nice vid. I actually own the TV that is behind these guys, the ue46b8000. The 55c8000 I plan to own in the few months after selling the ue46b8000. I am concerned though that other early impressions of the c8000 TVs is that it does not have the same picture quality as the b8000 / b8500. Has picture quality been sacrificed for the 3D technology? Would this be a valid concern, or do you think the fact that this is a newer TV that inevitably it is going to have a superior picture quality?

  • @bobbytallant It's not the case that newer TVs always have superior picture quality. We've seen examples in the of manufacturers over-doing the processing and spoiling what had been a great picture. As for the C8000, it looked good on first impressions and we'd be surprised if it wasn't up to the same standard as last year's ranges, but differences between a good picture and a super picture are usually subtle so we'll reserve final judgement till we've put it through a full comparitive test.

  • xD fail
