While this is funny, I don't think it's a blooper necessarily. There's a commercial that talks about some car being badass, because apparently the word ass is now acceptable on tv.
I like to watch Wrecked on the Speed channel. Basically cameras riding along with O'Hare Towing in Chicago. Same thing there. Every time it shows, people in the ditch everywhere. Wait times up to 8 hours. And it's us southern folks who get stereotyped as being unable to drive on the stuff.
how is this a blooper? that part was obviously put together in a studio... a blooper would be if he swore on live tv or if a car drove by and sprayed him with slush or something similar, this is just typical fox 13 low-standard news crap.
@superslowmo News Segments live on scene are usually put together in the van they arrive in. The reporter sits down and narrates over the video after watching it. Sometimes, in cases like this, the reporter slacks a bit. Since it's only really him who's watched the video before it goes on tv, accidents like these usually happens though not as blatant as this one...
@TheEGstudios yea, got that. it's still not a blooper. the guy was trying to be funny. q13 has fairly low standards for their news broadcasts, even the primetime news (jokes about shaving crotches after a segment about PETA protesters @ westlake comes to mind). a blooper is something that is an accident that ends in embarrassment, this is just another example of juvenile reporting from fox 13. not saying that someone might not think it's funny, it's just not a "blooper".
