The problem with this video is that it`s in Amharic...I don`t speak or understand a word of Amharic the way the Amhara do not understand or speak a word of Tigrinya
Eritrea and Ethiopia must return to their mother tongue of GE'EZ to unify all the peoples peacefully without giving lingual advantage to one group or the other
@ EriPages I honestly belive that unity is significantly larger than only having one common language, I refer to history itself. Unity is far less sophisticated than we makes it according to me. Find out own roots, is basic means to know of self, to know oneself is to know his neighbor .. according to me.
Of course unity isn't based solely on a common language...just look at the Tigrinya people of Eri & Ethi lol. But unity without a common language that does not give any advantage or even perceived advantage to one group over the other will only give you temporary unity. Over time resentment and rebllion from the disadvantaged or perceived disadvantaged group will grow too strong and de-unify people.
Ethiopia is experiencing that problem today. Ge'ez will unite all indiscriminately
@EriPages I'm just saying, who speaks Geez these days? It is probably easier to teach Tigrigna or Amharic, and in fact Tigrigna is not even the second widely spoken language in Ethiopia.
